Football vs track Posted Thursday June 11 2009, 5:49 pm
So im an offensive lineman for my football team and im basically the the entire line, im the only one on the team that is athletic, strong and fast. The thing is though is that Im not quite sure I want to play. Ive been working out since January and no one thinks i dont like football because i was encourage other ppl to play and im just like the prototypical jock, so quitting football would be ridiculously hard, and my coach would be pissed becasue the talked to me and said i hav a good chance to play for teams like USC, Miami, Penn State, etc. I know that would be awesome but its not my "love". I love throwign shot put, I just have this great camraderie with my teamates and im currently number 1 in the state for my class (sophmor...

Stressed about this! Posted Saturday May 30 2009, 8:52 pm
Hey I'm 13/F and I love soccer, I really do, it is a passion of mine. But see I never really got to choose soccer. My family kind of chose it for me. I am the youngest of four and all of my siblings have been on the soccer team in highschool and I want to be too. But 37 freshman are trying out... That's just the freshman. I'm kind of close to the coach and hes kind of the one who encouraged to try out but I'm still really stressed and scared. I know I'm good enough and I love soccer but that's so many girls!! My chances aren't great. And I dont even know if soccer is the sport for me but I've never been able to try any others and its too late now. Help me please!

new sport Posted Wednesday May 27 2009, 10:56 pm
Alright, I'm 16 and not athletic at all. I hate sports with a burning passion. Not a big fan of getting all sweaty and I'm definitely not good at the whole "team player" thing. Lol, just not me.
But as of this year my school is requiring everyone to do some sort of physical something (like a sport or something) or else they have to take gym.
My question is do any of you have any suggestions about what I should do? The physical activity could be like swimming lessons or gymnastics or something.
My problem is that I'm 16 and have never actually played a sport. I took dance lessons like 6 years ago, but I doubt my parents would be keen on sending me back to dance. So I'd need something that's easy to pick...

Cheerleading! Again? Posted Sunday May 10 2009, 8:45 am
Well I want to know of the likely hood of me making the 09/10 cheerleading squad at my school. I made the 08/09 squad last year but for some reason i'm nervous I won't make it again for the new school year but yet i'm almost 100% sure I will. It's the same coach and everything so is it likely that i'll make it?

How to get a better toe touch Posted Sunday April 19 2009, 12:02 pm
Ok, so my cheerleading season ended for this year and I really want my toe touch to look good for next season which starts in like December so I have about 8 months to improve my toe touch. This is what I really need. I want to get my legs up higher, roll my hips (which I have no idea what that means so if someone could explain it that would be great :D), get my legs straighter, and get good hight in my toe touch. So if someone could please answer this question I would so totally appreciate it :D. Thanks

Bicycle bum pain Posted Sunday April 19 2009, 8:28 am
I ride my bicycle for 20 minutes at least 4 times a week. Problem is, it hurts my bum!
I'm a woman who is somewhat overweight.
I already got an extra large seat, and that helped a lot.
Any tips on how to avoid bruising? I have to sit in an office chair for 12 hours immediately after riding my bike, and it kinda sucks :(

I want to be a pro soccer player. How do I start? Posted Friday April 17 2009, 5:12 pm
I'm 21 years old and I've played soccer since I was five. I played in High School on JV for my freshman and sophmore years. I didn't play my Junior year. Then I moved and attended a really small school that only had one team instead of a JV and Varsity. It wasn't a great team. The next year I played for a Junior College, and again, the team was small and not great. I never played on any premier teams. In high school I was too lazy to really work to get better. I love soccer so much. All I've ever wanted to do is play pro. I'm ready to put in the work and I need some advice on how to get noticed by the right people and/or teams. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
