Best friends

K so today is my best friends birthday but i cant go because i just got a job and after a week of oreintation im finally working today is the day i get trained which im excited for but my best friend is really pissed because im missing her 16th but its not my fault she didnt tell me 2 weeks ago she just told me a few days ago what she was doing and i tried calling her yesterday to tell her i cant come but she didnt answer so i sent her a msg on facebook and i told her i would call today but she sent me a msg saying "fuk you seriously you cant even call in sick or anything" so ya i dont know what to do should i talk to her again or no because she really hurt my feelings shes only thinking of herself.

really bad trust issues?

i have hard time trusting people and hard time opening up but i think i like the way i am cause i get to protect myself a lot, but at times i wish i had someone to trust and share my secrets with and it makes me sad and lonely but something tells me not to trust anyone and keep things myself because i feel like if i do share things with other people i end up getting hurt like i always do what should i do about this trust issue? its really hurting me but at the same time im okay with it when people ask me personal questions i just think they just trying to get information or they gonna blab it to someone else so i always lie AND i always think people are lying to me, it hurts when people confide me with their secrets and problems but i cant do the same to others

Hey,
I am 16f. I had this one friend for a long time previously, we were BEST friends, she even said so. Until she decided to give me up, for my brother... sad sad.. anyhow, ever since we first knew eachother, she has copied almost EVERYTHING she could think of. When I got a new sweater,she would have to go out and but one that weekend. When I got a laptop, she got the EXACT same one. When i got a certain binder, she got the same one, and when I got a dog, she had to go and buy a dog the next week. Now, I am not rich or anything, but her family IS sort of richer than we are, they have bigger,fancier items,and a much wealthier lifestyle.. but anyhow, I don't care at all. I am happy with who I am, the lifestyle I live, and such. But...

so lately my crush/freind/stand partner in orchestra (his name is alex) has been treating me a little bit diffrently than he has been like today when he wanted to get my attention (he ussually just says my name) he touched my shoulder yesterday when we were walking to our lockers (they'r just a set of lockers apart) and i told him (becouse i was mad at 2 people that day) that i dont get mad too easily but when i do get mad i get really mad then i told him that he doesnt want to get me mad so then (jokenly) he called me a loser then when he said that he was just joking he touched my shoulder and one day it was really cold out in the morning and we were waiting to go into the school and i just had short sleeves and jeans on and i was shiverin...

(my life is somewhat like the twilight series. so dont sue me for copyright if i use the characters names) right, so i have this friend, jake. we met 3 or 4 years ago, back when he was in fifth grade and i was in seventh. we talked on the phone a lot, and he annoyed me somewhat. but hes a really sweet guy and he eventually asked me to marry him, (its a middle school game-type-thing. obviously, we're not really married.) but i still call him my husband and he calls me his wife. its cute.

I really messed up. My friend told me that my crush, let's call him J, said that i need to leave him alone and to never talk to him again. I did the wrong thing and told him that he was a jerk without confirming that he indeed said what my friend said J said. When he messaged me back, he sounded really mad and ready to press harrassment charges on me if i wrote back. I wrote back saying sorry and that i am misunderstood at home and mistreated at school and i dont think that he will believe me.
What can i do now?

i'm waiting for my ex. and he always thinks i'm flirting with other guys, but i really don't try to..i guess thats just my way of being friendly. i don't want him to think this so how can i still be friendly with guys without coming off as flirty?

However, one of my friends that was probably the first one to know has been flirting with him A LOT lately. I told her last week if she could stop because she knows how much I like him, but she keeps doing it. What should I do?

okay, my bestfriend and her boyfriend have been on and off relationship for 4 years. i honestly dont like him because of some things hes done to her in the past and some things he does that changes who she is. i can tell he doesnt like me, but he doesnt like any of her friends. all his friends are jerks and what not, but my friend continues to date him.
i have 2 questions, 1. how am i to support her when hes done things to hurt her in the past.. she hates that i dont like him, even though i try to hide it and say i do. 2. even though its already happening, how can i keep us from growing apart because she doesnt like how im not extatic about her dating this guy

I'm usually pretty quiet. I have a small group of "closer" friends, maybe 8 or so. Then I don't really have any other people I would consider "friends". More like "acquantices"[sp?].
In school, I'm really shy and I probably just appear unapproachable because I'm not really social. At home, I LOVE it. My dad is amazing and he's really involved in my life. If I had to choose between him or my friends, it would definitely be him. Well, most of my friends are pretty social. They have a lot of friends and hang out with people every weekend. well..... there is this guy i like and he found out and told me that he liked me too, but then he said he didn't like me and just wanted to be "good friends". well he always flirts with me and dosen't have a girlfrined and doesn't like anyone, but he keeps asking me if i have a boyfriend and keeps asking who i like. so i have no idea what he is getting at??? he likes me? yes or no or maybe???

I've had this best friend, Amy for like 15 going on 16 years. I cheered my 7th Grade year, and we were really close, then I quit and we drifted apart, so this year, my 11th grade year, she wanted me to cheer because we had become close again, so I tried out, and made it. Now, she has these other friends, one of them in particular, Kara who has this boyfriend, Trevor, and his best friend Sam had sex with my best friend. I'm not quite sure what catergory this was supposed to go in, so I just picked one that seemed relevant.
I just finished my first year of college and I met some amazing friends. It turns out that yesterday I found out that one of my amazing friends passed away. He lived in a different state so there is no way I can go to his viewing or funeral.
I want him to know that I will miss him and I'm sorry that I can't go to his funeral/viewing. I don't know how I'm supposed to do that. I want him to know that I'll always be thinking of him and he'll forever be in my heart.

we've been friends for over five years... but the last year i began to notice the extent of her devotion to this friendship... it seemed to me that i was the one putting so much effort into the relationship... we're both international students from france and where we met (in college) was far far away from home. I must say first that i really think she has issues... things i thought were irrelevant to our friendship until they proved otherwise.... for starters her mother brought up both her girls to be clingy and withdrawn... their dad is out of the picture since her second daughter was born.. he's back in Australia i think... both girls hang out with each other (the younger one is worse! her only friend is her older sister and she refuses ...

So my best friend Amy and I are not friends anymore because i caught her in a lie. I always felt like she was lying to me, but didn't say anything to her because i didn't want to seem like a bad friend. Here's the story.
Amy told my friend Sara something she did with a boy, and she begged Sara not to tell anyone. But when Sara was talking to me one day it slipped out of her mouth. Sara thought i knew because the 3 of us were best friends. It was a total lie, and Amy found out Sara told me and got mad at us. Amy said Sara twisted the story, but Sara is not the person to twist stories. And i guess i'm a bad friend for believing Sara.
