what should i do about my "best friend"?

So I've been "best friends" with this girl for about like 3 years now. She's SUPER clingy to me. She always needs to know where I am and who I'm with if I'm not hanging out with her. If I tell her I can't hang out with her, she'll ask why, who are you with? Anyways, she and I and another girl are all BFF's. But this girl who's super clingy, let's call her Jane. She's always talking crap about the other girl,(let's call her Sara). Jane always vents to me about Sara and how much she hates her, and yet Jane is so nice, but it's all fake to Sara's face. And Sara and I are closer, so I tell Sara what Jane says about her.

alright so i have this friend i guess and he always wants to hang out and i honestly don't want to hang out with him. he's really annoying and clingy. i don't respond to his texts and he still texts me like everyday asking to hang out! like he doesn't get the message, then after a week if i don't text him back he says "are u mad at me?" so i feel bad and say no. and i always make excuses to not hang out but i really just don't want to. i feel bad and i feel like a bitch but this kid says he's my best friend but i really don't want to be...what should i do? like i don't want him to hate me, i just want him to leave me alone and just talk in school.

A few months ago "one of my supposedly best friends" and my other "really good friends" all started these nasty rumors about me and were calling me names such as; slut, whore, skank, waste of time, waste of breath, never important, etc. I mean I was getting restricted phone calls, instant messages, text messages, messages on facebook/myspace from all these different people. I was getting verbally harassed for about 2 weeks. I'm not getting into the rumors because thats besides the point and they weren't true no matter how many times I told them, they didn't believe me. I've written a novel series that I'm attempting to get published. And well, I included a character like a person who I had a falling out with a while back, and well, I'm kinda taking this chance to tell this friend that I will still be their friend, regardless.

Let's just say, girl I used to date hates me, I sometimes hate her, but I really want to bury the hatchet and at least be friends, despite the years of non-speaking and such.
How do I manage to explain my intent and actually make it heard without some kind of issue?

So, I confessed to this guy. I'd liked him for a while, but I absolutely never showed it so we were just casual friends and all that, texted each other. He's got a girlfriend already so it was stupid of me to even say it but I had to. It was bugging me so much whenver I was with him that I couldn't stand it. I told him I liked him.
In the end I kinda freaked out and rushed off telling him to forget the whole thing and was a total spaz. He said it was really really unexpected, almost to the point of freakin a person out, because I'd liked him for so long and said nothing.

So about a month a go I was hanging out with my boyfriend and our friend and our friend said that he hadnt worked all that week and that he had been bored all week. Well later that night I called his girlfriend and we were talking then she said that she hadn't seen him all tthat week and I ask why and she said that he was working then I told her that he told me differnt and then she dumped him. A few people found out that I told her that and think I purposly broke them and now everyone including her is mad at me and its been about a month and they all keep talking bad about me and they talk bad to me to my OWN BOYFRIEND! One of my best friends from my early childhood has recently become a rather rotten individual. Her home life has always been fragmented, and her mother is quite literally mad. This friend of mine has for the past couple of years been working on a modeling career and has honestly gotten nowhere, though she still insists that she is now and forever a model. She graduated early and left town to be with her dad, but not before she hooked up with a much older and rather "dirty" fellow here in town. just turned 19- female.
not feeling pretty isnt really something ive had a problem with UNTIL now. my brother whose 22 always says i look like cindy lou who from the grinch and everyone always agrees, i think its because of my nose (which ive always been insecure about) and then last night this guy was like you kinda look like a chimpmunk. and i was like ooooh thaaanks? now i am so embarassed and feel like when someone looks at me their going to think i either look like cindy lou who or a chimpmunk or something like that. its not a good feeling. thanks to them my self esteem is very low now. what do i do?

I have this friend that I've known since the start of this school year. We've been great friends and we used to always talk.. Until the melodrama at my school. He was the director, an I got a part. But due to random events during it, he completely drew back socially from my friends and me. I don't know what to do. I've asked him several times if he's mad at me, and he answers no... although he never stays within the same room as me or my friends. I don't know what to do. I've tried talking to him about it, but he just cuts the conversation short and leaves.
