Mouth is Sore. Advice or Tips?

My tongue has been sore a lot lately. Particularly on both sides. From side to side. It hurts so bad, it hurts to move my tongue, or eat.
Soreness goes away within a few days.. then a day or two later it comes right back.
I can't go to a Doctor because I have no insurance. Laid off.. so if that is an option I would be consulting the Doctor instead =]
What can I do to reduce pain? And get rid of it?

when you said to dunk my face in ice cold water so the rings around my eyes would go away, is that true because i've never tried it. Someone told me to put cold teabags under my eyes..... i just wanted to know which one you think is better and why

Hey Advicenators! I've been having some issues lately and it seems like blood sugar maybe, I don't know! And, so, I was hoping somebody knew something about diabetes. Like, what are the signs and symptoms of diabetes? How do I know if I have diabetes? And, heck, how do people get diabetes anyway? I know it's a disease and messes with blood sugars and stuff so ... yeah :\ I don't want to have it but if I do I guess I have to see a doctor

period 2 long AGH HELP

hey i just got my period and im kinda worriede cause it is day 10 now going on 11 and i still spot blood!! the blood has gotten darker the last 2 days and the good news is that after day 7 i never felt anything... NO cramps... no warning about bleeding Nothing... so its not like it is bugging me BUT i still have to wear liners! ALSO is this normal?? i mean 10 FRICKEN DAYS!!!!!!

tampons

are tampons suppose to hurt alot when you take them out? i use tampax pearl and i used a light one and i took it out after like 5 or 6 hours and it hurt to get out. it did have blood on it but how do you know when you're positive its fully absorbed?

2 periods a month?!

Recently I have been getting 2 periods a month. Like at the end on the previous month I get it around the end, and it goes several days into the next month.Then I would get it later in the month.
Well now, I will litterally get 2 in a month.One at the beginning and one at the end.What Im wondering is if this is normal, and if not what I can do to fix it!

Romaine lettuce was recalled...do I throw it away?

The news was saying that some Romaine lettuce was recalled recently. Well, I had JUST bought a bag of it (Romaine lettuce) like the day before yesterday from the supermarket so I could have salads. I'm nervous because I don't want to get salmonella and be sick...I get sick really easily. Should I throw the lettuce away or is it safe to eat? If I wash the lettuce really good, will it be safe? Should I take it back to the store I purchased it from? I'm just not sure what to do...

hey.. i am 14/f
so here it is... i just got my period and it has lasted a long time. I am now on day 10!!! AGH .. is that normal?? well anyways today (day 10) i looked at my pad and their was blood BUT the front was red (normal) BUT the back was BLACK!!!! i mean PITCH BLACK ... not red y browny,... im taking like.. well it looked like tar, or black paint... well not that dark but soo close!!!! IM SCARED ABOUT THE COLOUR AND HOW LONG IT IS LASTING....!! but since this is my first period i dont know what to expect really!!!!??? HELP!!!!!

Alright, this is sort of embarassing, but I havent had my period in a very long time. I started when I was 13 and have been irregular ever since I started.
I've only had about 9-10 periods in my life. I was concerned about it before, but when I talked to nurses they always told me it was alright to be irregular.
I've always felt really bad about it though. So a couple years ago I went on birth control (to regulate it). It worked, but it became a hassle because everytime i forgot to take a pill, i'd get a period. So I quit that.
But its been over a year now? Or around there since my last period. Im 17 years old. And im just wondering...that cant be healthy right?

i have fair complexion and spots on my face are visible .when i was in 17 yrs old they appeared .it might be due to sun .i hv used many creams but they are uneffective. also i have dark underarms and bikiny please suggest me something good and effective.

I am a 17 year old girl about to start my senior yearvin high school. The past year has been a bit stressful and an emotional rollarcoaster and I have gained almost 20 pounds. I am 5'4" and not comfortable with my current weight of 158 lbs. My entire family has hasd some sort or weight problem for as long as I can remember and I guess they don't want me to turn out like them so they go around callingbme fat and talking to each other about my weight gain. I have always played a sport but this yeAr I have to focus on college and my future goals, so I plan on coach ing my school jv teAm.. I had my period in April, I skipped my period in May. It's an irregular cycle. I'm not pregnant. Is it normal? Will I have a regular period this month? Becuase of the irregular cycle/skip of period; Do a woman have to go to the doctor?

O.k. So i am 13 and i havent tarted my peiriod yet. But im geting Yellow discharge and i dont want to go to my grandma because its imberrising. Its not chunkey and its not dirty down there but im not sure whats going on.Is it an infection and can i fix it by myself? IF so, How? Is this sierious? California is my state!! :)
