Hi I found out about 3 years ago that my friends parents parents both smoke weed. They dont do it around me or my friend they do it in there room, so were not around it, and they both are good parents, they both work and have a house of there own and there very responsible people, and I still have that thought in my mind that they both do it, and my my friends mom knnows I know about it and she tells me not to talk about it. what should my friend jasmin do?

Ok, where I live usually people go out at night.
Sometimes drinking sometimes just walking around, going to the park, having a good time etc.
I always get asked but I make up excuses to turn them(my friends) down.
Most people go home by 11pm anyway so it's not a big deal or anything.(They are all 15-17) Some of the older people stay out later, or the people with more relaxed parents.
I've never been sure how to ask my parents if I could go out with my friends at night...
How can I approach them about this, what should I say to them, etc?
I really want to go out with my friends...but I'm not sure what my parents will say.
They trust me so that's no problem, and they've always been ...

Im 16 and my boyfriend is 18. I had a babyboy 2 months ago and i feel like im ready to live on my own. My boyfriend works and so do i, so we have everything figured out. the on ly problem is, my mom doesnt think i can handle it....is she right??? what do i do

miss my family

I grew up in a small town and moved to a larger city almost four years ago. I would say I have my ducks in a row, since moving. I want to move back to a close city where I grew up at in a few years. I miss my family horribly. In four years, I still don't consider my new place, home. I am around family I love, but I miss my real family. The only problem is my son's father lives close to their. He lost visitation rights to our son because of drinking and anger-management. I feel living here gives us enough space to where he will not harass me. One of the reasons we moved is to get away from him. I have a nine year old son and I finish college in a year. Should I stay away from where I want to move or move and deal with the static?

Iam 19 years old and i live with my cousin becouse iam not able to live on my own becouse of physical disabilities i have and i don't get along with my mom and when i lived with my mom i would always do stupid stuff to get myself in trouble and iam sick and tired of getting into trouble and iam afraid if i go to my mom's for even just one day i will get my ass into some kimd of trouble becouse of the people i hang around with at my mom's i'll give you some kind of idea about what my sister and her friends and people that she hangs around with have got me to do that i wouldn't have done before.

Teen Pregnancy + My Family = ???

Recently my judgement took a turn for the worst, and I had unprotected sex several times rather than wait for my boyfriend to get some condoms. And now, at the early age of fourteen, I might be pregnant.
This doesn't shock me because I knew what I was doing, but my parents will absolutely die! I've always been their perfect daughter. Really, I'm convinced they only like me because I bring "bragging rights" to the table. So I'm genuinely afraid for when I have to announce what will surely make them hate me.
And that's not even the half of it. What about my aunts, uncles, and grandfather, who are all more than a bit old-fashioned?
Most importantly, I worry for my younger cousins, who are...

Cusins commig to visit for a week!

Okay so im f/18 and my sis is 15.
Our cusins f/19 and 15 are comming down to visit for a week and they are staying at my place.
What are some cheaper things we can do... or places we could go? I think were spending a day at the amusment park and another shopping and probly go to a movie...

my parents keep such a strict eye on me, and i really just want to have fun. i got caught in my friend's car a couple of weeks ago when she was still on JOL, so i was grounded and now they're keeping an even closer watch on me.
tomorrow night, my friend is having a sort of party and i want to go. there will be alcohol there, and i want to have some to let loose and have fun. i don't know what to say to my parents, because i know they'll call me to ask what i'm doing and thoroughly question me. they need to let me make my own mistakes, but they don't understand that.
any advice on what to do about tomorrow night and in the future with my parents?

so.. my mom and i. not the happy campers. me and her always argue. she has done a tremendous amount of emotional damage to me. my father does nothing due to the fact that he is scared of my mother and would rather agree than pick a fight.. 17 years.. and she has over protected me.. which isnt really a good thing.. she has turned into a control freak who will yell and scream and complain till he has broken an eardrum.. this woman hits.. she says things i dont think children are supposed to hear from their mothers.. you'd think she is a stepmother. basically my home life is not where i want to be. ill be graduating hs june 2009, and i have been planning to move in with my bf after hs. only problem is my mother. i'd probably lose ...

texting-how to convince my mom

Okay so I first got texting a few months ago, and my mom and dad gave me the 250 texts/month deal with verizon and let's just say i went about 1000 over and my bill was 350$. i paid it all off since then and have tried to be more responsible since they blocked my texting..i know it would be easier with unlmtd texting and i told my mom i could pay the 10$ a month charge for it. my dad is fine with me getting it but my mom is off/on about it. how do i convince her without being all annoying and begging-like? thanks!!!

I'm 17 years old, starting my sophomore year in college. I'm a pretty good student, but I guess I could be better. (I usually get A's and B's, but I know I'm capable of getting better grades.
I have two jobs (veterinary assistant/receptionist and I also work for a small business).
I'm responsible, smart, nice, etc. And I want a tattoo and I'm not allowed. My parents just can't stand what they look like, even though I'm getting one that will be hidden under clothes and its small AND it actually means something to me and says something about me.
How can I convince my parents that tats are really not that bad and I won't turn into a bad or sleazy person just because I get one. And by the way, its ...

my name is Rachel and my mom and i are not getting along very well right now in fact it seems like we are always getting into verbal fights so to keep from fighting with mom i moved into my 38 year old cousins home and here's the problem i have now even though i moved out of my mom's house we still end up getting into fights over the phone so here's what we are fighting about now. Iam learning disabled and i have some physical disablities that disable me from working i was in special edecation when i was in highschool i have graduated last may. i will give you a small description of what some of my disabilities are.

Heres the scoop. I have a boyfriend. We have been dating for about a month. My rents are "old school" and seem to think that if you have a boyfriend, you cant have boy friends. So, i have to choose between my boyfriend (which means losing all my guy friends) or my guy friends (which means losing my boyfriend). I dont know what to do. What should i do

I don't know where else to go to ask. I'm going to warn you now that this is probably going to be very long, but I would really and truly appreciate any advice, even if it's not what you think I want to hear.
First of all, I have a weird relationship/set-up with my dad. I'm going to try to simplify it as much as I possibly can.. My mom left when I was a baby and I have lived with my grandmother ever since. My dad has almost always been a part of my life. He's a great guy, he's my best friend, he makes me laugh more than anyone I know, he does things that a dad is supposed to do. The thing is, his presence is my life is very coming and going. Once, I didn't hear from him for a year.
He reappeared when I was four...
