Showing up to school different... sophmore

Since 6th grade, i wore a cover up to cover my problem of excessive hair pulling. Well, i have finally gotten over it and now ive been cover up free for about the whole summer. Well, im really nervous to go back to school, i have pictures of me on myspace (etc) of the new me. Idk if everyone has seen them, But alot of people commented them. I am extreamly nervous to walk into school. And im usually the girl who doesn't care what people think, say, or if they stare at me. I'm just really scared that people will stare at me when i walk through the main hallway.. its where EVERYONE hangs out in the morning till the bell rings. My question is: What can i do to just not think about what they will be thinking, looking at, etc? I really just want...

In exactly one week, I will be going back to school. I want to go back exuding confidence. Right now I am very confident, however, a little more confidence never hurt anyone :D. So basically, I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to be more confident. Thank you!

i am just starting college and majoring in criminal justice. my friend is majoring in dental hyginest i believe and she just got a job at a dental office. so where could i do the same? other then a court house?

i just started college first year but i would like to know where can i sell my books after first semester is over. i know u can do it at your college but they wnt give u as much. so the next place would be online. my friend told me ebay. any other ideas that will work good? thank you in advance!

Okay so I work at Subway and have for about three weeks. Lately people have been really mean to me: I was never trained in much except making sandwhiches and so this one girl whose my age sighes heavily every time i need her help and makes nasty comments about how mad she gets with me, talks about me to everyone, and is unfair with me more then anyone else. Now two other workers are talking about me, when they think I can't hear, and i got a knife flung at me for apparently just ' standing there' when there was a bunch of people in line. There is only two people who are nice to me at all, people who don't stop talking as soon as i walk into the room. I've been treated terribly by almost every single person there and feel like quiting becaus...

i talk to my guyfriend a lot, and we enjoy playing games via facebook. games like
(1) truth or dare without the dare
(2) awkward truth
(3) word association games (e.g., he says "llama" i say "animal")
(4) games where we have to think of a word starting with the last letter of the last word said (e.g., "clock" "kid" "depend")
can anyone else suggest other games that i could play with him? we tried would you rather but it didn't work out too well cause it required too much thought and we couldn't think of good ones even when we used the internet.

I always hear from people that high school is supposed to be the best time of your life. That this is the time when you find yourself. Well, I haven't exactly found myself yet, which is alright I suppose since I'm just going into sophomore year.
But I am a little worried. I've reached a point due to a horrible first year of high school where I just don't care about who likes me or if I have friends.
Basically the only thing I'm counting on to get me through this hellhole called school is that college, marriage, and kids will be better.
But I just don't want to regret twenty years down the road that my high school experience sucked. Then what do I tell my kids? "Oh yes don't worry! You'll be fine in high school!&quo...

Good impression?

Well, I start school in two weeks and the first day at our school is always a half day, which doesn't make it as intense but yeah...
What are some ways I will leave a good/friendly impression on the new people, and also how are some ways I can be friendly with the people in my classes?
I mean obviously I have friends that I always hang around with but I want to know how I can be friendly with the people that I don't really know?

my boyfriend is leaving to away college so his friends are throwing him a party. i cant go because i will have relatives over that night and i cant get out of it. should he go to his party where girls that like him will obviously be there and have a good time and i should be okay with it?
i know the answers yes and that i should trust him but can anyone just keep telling me that because i worry too much!

University woes

I have never had many friends... actually, I've only had one or two tops. Well, I'm starting university this year and I'm worried my curse is going to continue. I used to be very shy, awkward, defensive and a bunch of other unnatractive traits but I've gotten a lot better. How do I make friends? I don't know how. Am I going to be alone for the rest of my life??

lunch seats!

ok so this year my school is starting a rotational schedule and so everyone has the same lunch period at the same time. and so i have one group of friends of ~ 6 people and then my other best friend who is not part of that clique -- she has her own circle of friends.
i want to sit with both groups but both sides are assuming i'll sit with them, and idk who to sit with! last year i sat with the group of 6 because my other bff didn't have lunch the same period as me.
honestly, i wanted to sit in a classroom and do homework during lunch after i ate with my other bff but i still need someone to sit with during actual lunch if i choose not to do homework one day.

Well I do like do other things. I clean and do loundery and I try spend less time being on here and do other things I lost my intress in reading. i don't know what kind book I want to read. i try everything. books on sprit little bit but not very intress. Ithink i am afraide to read becouse I read something I read in to much in it. I meanknow how sometime people read something they listen to it. like let say somone wrote " You be heathy if you do this" things like that I do'nt know. this things are to belive or not. like only thing i know is reading the bible becouse that only thing you should belive to read what real.. okay so me and my boyfriend had been dating for three years and he asked me to marry him!I'm only 14! and he's 16. we're sooo young! I didn't give him my answer yet but I just don't know what to say. I mean I love him with all my heart and when he cry then I cry. when he's hurt or injured then I injure myself to be injured with him. we do everything together besides go to school. I do plan to get married some day but not this soon. he said we'll be engaged until I'm 17 or 18 and that's when we'll get married. but should I wait till I'm that age or should I just tell him no?what should I do?

I'm not a boy-crazy person. I'm 16 years old, I've never had a boyfriend, never been kissed, and that has never bothered me. However I met one of the new staff at my high-school. Well he's obviously an older man (late 20's) and he's, for lack of a better term, hot. And as level-headed as I believe myself to be, I am also a teenage girl with a tendency to fantasize and flirt. This can not end anyway but in embarassment and disaster, and I'll most likely see him everyday. How can I go to school, interact with the man and keep myself in check?
To make this clear, No I don't wish to persue a relationship with the man, it's just the thought of the man's tongue down my throat doesn't exactly freak me out.

well im new at my school and thanks to my friend (at another school) i started talking to this girl whos cool and popular and stuff. now i have the chance to be friends with her and be cool and popular but i dont want to do bad stuff. like she and i were talking about parties and how shes going partying this weekend and how some of her friends do drugs and how everyone at the parties drink and stuff. now i want to be cool and popular and be friends with these people but is that possible to do without partying, doing drugs, and drinking? or will they think im a loser if i dont do these things. i want to be friends with everyone and be nice and just not do the bad stuff but is that like a requirement lol and i wont do them even if it means no...
