One of my friends, Jess, has a boyfriend. The problem is she is telling us that she doesn't like him anymore and wants to break up with him. They have been dating for about 2 months.
The problem is that she avoids confrontation A LOT. (She thinks it's a good thing, but that's another story and that isn't really my business.) So when he asks her to do things, like go to the movies, she says yes, and then she'd tell us how much she doesn't want to. When she does that, I tell her to say no and then she just shrugs it off. Best friend drifting apart

So I had this best friend and this year we have been in a different class. I am from Australia so here the school year starts at the beginning of the year. Meaning we have been in a different class since the beginning of the year.
We are in the same friend group, and we are all close friends but her and I (I'll call her Emma), were closer than we were with the others. She was my best friend and I was hers.
One of our other friends who is in her class now is best friends with her, and they do everything together. At recess our whole group sits together and they would always leave to go somewhere else or go to the bathroom to put on eyeshadow.

I'm a 7th grade girl, and I am absolutely terrible at social interaction. What I believe to be setting me apart from others is my intelligence. Although I may sound extraordinarily arrogant in saying so, I am much, much smarter than most. I have a genius IQ, and aced the English TCAP in 5th grade and the math TCAP last year (scoring at 99% or 98% in all other classes). I had a final grade of 100% on my report card in science, and I was selected for numerous intellectual contests (not all of which I participated in).

I can't lose weight.

I'm a middle school girl, and I "suffer" from severe anorexia. I personally don't believe that it is an incredibly big deal, however there is one other problem. I can't lose weight. No matter what I do, nothing happens.Everyday, I record my weight, width of my waist, and what I ate that day. At the very most, I eat 750 calories a day. I do a hundred-cal workout however many times is necassary to work off the calories, plus 400 crunches. I eat organic cereal with milk for breakfast, resulting in 260 calories. For lunch, I have a 50 calorie container of applesauce, if anything. Then for supper I eat the smallest portion of whatever my mom cooks that I can get away with. Finally, I workout, doing the hundred-cal 3 times for lunch and...

So she got this new boyfriend - her first may I add - and never stopped talking about him for the first week. 3 days after he asked her out, he was referred to as her boyfriend even though they hadn't been on a date or kissed yet.

Obsession with the number 5

So I have this weird obsession with the number 5. It started out as just a maths thing really like 5-10-15-20 type thing, then I started to notice the number 5 in songs. I would count the syllables until they get to 5 and if they did I feel this rush of relief. If it didn't I would find a way to make the syllables make up 5. Now it's gotten worse to the point when I hear people talking e.g in person or on tv I feel I need to put their words into 5 syllables. Even myself sometimes I won't say anything because I want to make sure it all fits into 5 syllables. I don't know if I'm making any sense and if I'm not please tell me. It's very hard to explain. I just wanted to know if this was some sort of OCD? I'm 18 and v v v confused!

So my boyfriend of 3 years and I met at our first job at a grocery store. He knew I liked him and asked me out and I said no. I didn't think it would be right, at the time I was incredibly depressed and suicidal. I used to self harm, mainly cut and hit myself. But he wore me down, I told him about all of my struggles and self hate issues, and he said he said he wanted to be there for me, and that he liked me.
Fast forward to now, I have been hospitalized for overdosing with intent to kill myself twice. I'd been caught 2 times, tried 4 times. Just joined marching band camp.

I just started marching band and I noticed that my piccolo is acting strangely. On the first day it played fine, but on the second day, I found that I had to press on harder to let it play. My teacher said it was fine, because the keys are supposed to swell after temperature change and in the fall it will be cooler. I accepted that, but while playing it made me realize that it will seriously mess up my playing. If I have to play super fast or have to trill, there is no way I can keep the keys down with extra force! Please give me some tips and advice I really need it.

My mom isn't understanding of orientation week?

So since I'm not living on residence for university I decided on going to my schools orientation week. I had to pay 140 dollars for it because of all the activities going on for it, for example going to the amusement park, touring downtown and going to the beach. Some of the activities that interested me the most take place during 8pm and my mom is saying I can't stay on campus past 5pm cause it's not safe to be there because of the rape reputation the school has. The thing that is pissing me off the most is that I didn't even want to go to that school in the first place but my mom kept insisting I go to that school instead of another school I wanted to go to. So now I'm going to the school she wants and she's telling me I can't stay past 5...

This is more of a rant than a question, basically I've had the worst summer ever I didn't do anything at all except stay home and do the same things every single damn day. I ended up getting cabin fever because even when I did go out it was always with family and we would always go to the same place (the freaking mall that's by my house, which we go to whether it's summer time or not) ever since high school ended I've learned who my real friends really were, none of the friends that I talked to throughout high school ever tried to reach out to me this summer, it was always me texting them first to the point where if I don't text them I won't hear from them at all. Aftermath of School Shooting

There was a shooting on my college campus three years ago. I was in class and heard something like a bookcase falling over. A loud bang. A few minutes later I heard screaming in the hallway.
