Where should i go for New Years?

this question is about new years. Im european and close to my family. My gradfather is not well but not dying. He's got a bad leg with circulation problems. Anyway....my mom wants to go down and spend new years with them, and being that im close to the family i feel obligated to go. thing is i gots a boyfriend i would rather spend new years with because with my family we'll be at home celebrating. What should i do? whats the RIGHT thing to do? thanks in advance

Once a child is adopted, can he or she be un-adopted?

Before I even begin, this is out of pure curiosity. I am too young to even be thinking of this and I don't know anyone who is looking to adopt.
If someone adopts a child, is it possible for them to un-adopt the child?
I say this because a lot of children in such situations have come from dysfunctional families before the adoption. If the child seems normal when the parents adopt him or her and then turns out to be too much of a handful, is there a certain amount of days allowed for them to try out the new family with it's new family member? I also know that as the years go by, the child may show characteristics from a past dysfunctional home that they didn't exhibit before--some being severe, I'm sure. Su...

so saturday night mom and i had a big argument.. and i ended up leaving because she said to get out her house and give her my keys.. my cell phone.. everything...
i lasted out till about 11 something when we (bf and i) got to the precinct... now my mom classifies under 'emotional abuse' but i clearly see the authorities want physical abuse.. emotional means CRAP. i had to go back home with my parents -_- now everytghings worse... well at least she's leaving me alone... but now i definately know im on my own. Is there any way i can avoid this awkward feeling waking up along with her? any advice in general? all will be appreciated :)

It's Finally a Divorce

I'm 16/f and my parents have finally had it with each other. My father drinks too much, he hides most of the money so he can go purchase more beer and now the house that we live in is going under forclosure. My mom, my older sister and I are moving into an apartment... and my dad just doesn't want anything to do with us anymore. I've lived in this house for years and I don't want to leave, it's my home. How do I get through this?

Ok well im 18 an I have a 16yo sister. She is a hoe my other sisters think it nd so do i. She has ranaway like 3 times and has been kawt having sex n her room by my mom. Wen she got kawt my mom did NOTHING at all. Then jus recently my mom saw hickeys all over her neck nd once again did NOTHING. Now yesterday my mom kawt her ditching school walkn wit sum 19yo so my mom made her get n the car then my sis jumped out to be wit the boy nd my mom jus lef her there for a day. The next day she calls my mom to get her and everysince then my mom has been kissn her ass. Why does my mom act like this if it was me I wud have alredy been kicked out. 2 couples involved
friends for 20+ years recent bitter aqgument over politics has resulted in couple #2 stopping contact (they know couple #1 wife has terminally ill father (Dr said not to count on Thanksgiving)
Woman is an only child, planning her fathers funeral home care etc has enough to deal with
Plus she feels that people she has loved & emotionally supported for years have abandoned her... therefore must never have been true friends
I am close to couple #1 & well aquainteed with couple #2.
should I contact couple #2 & tell them how depressed their absence is making wife #1?
all involved are 55+ years with grown familiew

I have gone through a lot lately. Everytime when I tell my parents of something bad that has happened they try to force me to go to counseling. I find that extremely insulting. If there's one thing I know how to do, it's how to think. If I have a problem that I need another perspective on I have my friends, advicenators, and used to have my parents. Except now I feel like I have to close myself off to them because I'm sick of hearing how I 'need help.' Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? Was it ever resolved?

so, this is kinda a long story..i don't really know what to do..my boyfriend tells me that my mom treats me like shit and i let it happen..i mean she says the most hurtful things you could think of..like "if i knew you were gonna be like this i'd never have you" or pretty much, "i wish you were never born"..am i that bad?! my boyfriend says it's her that's a bitch, and my mom tells everyone in my family that i never do what she asks, which is bullshit..so now everyone is giving me crap about it..i go to college..i'm 18..my boyfriend says i'm old enough to make my own decisions but until i understand that, my mom is just going to keep treating me like shit..but i still have that respect for my parents..i do what i can..i'...

my friend wanted to suck my blood because he claims hes a vampire. so i thought, cool! why not? well, when the time came for me to slit my wrist, i dug a little to deep and went a little fast, because it CUT MY WRIST, WIDE OPEN. i had used a razor and it made a very fine, half-inch-wide cut on my arm. i freaked out, and had to show my parents. but to keep them from thinking i needed help, i told them it was blodlust. but now the think im losing my faith in God, and my moms mad cuz she knows i wasnt raised this way. i was raised in a christian environment. and i know that. im not losing my faith, im still a christian. but i do have a fasination with dark stuff. eg: im emo/goth. i wear all black and really thick eye liner and i dyed my hair b...

Teenage mothers

I am 18 and have been with my wonderful significat other for two years. we've talked about our fairy tail marriage and our little house with a white picket fence.. all of that, anyway i know a lot of girls my age who are pregnant and only one of them is still with the guy who helped this situation :] anyway this is for the teenage mothers or soon to be's, how does it feel to have the baby in your stomach. how do you feel when you look at them every day knowing that they're a part of you? what's your story, how did you tell your parents, were they cool with it or was it a dramatic experience. i'm not looking to get pregnant but i do know i was a born mother :] and i will be very excited when the time comes.

i have a 4 year old brother. im scared of being a bad sister and scarring his views of me for life, but sometimes he is so annoying that i feel like really hurting him. when i explain he's being annoying he does the same thing any 4 year old boy would do... do it again.

HI, My sister and her ex boyfriend are fighting for custody of my neice. My neice has been staying with me so she can attend school. Now my neices father didn't know where i lived until he involved the sherriffs dept. Her father is know for his temper and has a girlfriend who has threatened my sister and her husband. The sherriff has granted me custody of my neice until tomorrow.. but i am fearing going home and doing any normal activites because of the violent threats. What should i do?

My mom does stuff just to irritate me im 18/m and in January I leave for the army for four years.
