How do i get my mom to let me on birth control?

so my boyfriend and i are becoming more and more sexually invloved. we really love each other. i am soo scared of becoming pregnant it's frightening. i don't wanna have a child at 15 or even think about it. yes, i am a virgin. i'm 5'2" and i weigh about 107 lbs. i want to get on birth control right away... i need to find an excuse for my mom to let me; i only get my period once a year. i've only every gotten it twice. once in jan 09 for a week and the second time in jan '10 for a week. now it is december '10. my mom says that she doesn't want me getting on any pills. idk why though but i needddd to prevent stuff....... help please any other good excuses???

Asking parents about birth controll

I am a teenager seeking advice on asking my parents to put me on birth controll. It is because I am thinking about becoming sexually active with my long time boyfriend but I'm not sure when. We are going to be as safe as we can be by using a condom also. I need help on how to ask my mom so it doesn't sound like I'm going to be getting physical right away because I'm not, I just want to be ready when I do make the desition. I am very close with my mom, and we have kind of discussed it before but now I really feel it's time I start taking it. Please anyone with helpful ways I could ask her let me know. Thanks! (:

Generic Brand BC Pills from Planned Parenthood

I'm a 18 year old college kid with no income and I can't afford to pay $50+ every month for brand name BC pills. I was wondering if anyone is taking a generic brand for Loestrin 24 Fe and how it is (Any negative side effects, weight gain, etc.) and what the name for it is.
If not for Loestrin 24, just any generic brand BC pills (name please)

So I recently went to Planned Parenthood and got put on Loestrin 24 Fe, my first BC pill ever. I thought the nurse told me to take it on a Sunday of my choice, so I took my first pill this morning (Sunday, 11/28) but I've been reading the little instructions that came with the pills saying I should start it on the first day of my period or on the Sunday after my period starts?
I'm not on my period and I don't know when I'll get them because I'm irregular. Is it bad that I took them today although I'm not on my period? Will it reduce its effectiveness? How long do I have to wait before I have sex since I didn't start it during my period...?

When to start BC pills?

I've always had really irregular periods (I'm 18) and I had my "last" period around Oct. 27 - Nov. 1 then had light bleeding/spotting ~Nov. 6 for a few days. I recently was prescribed Loestrin 24 FE and was told to start it on a Sunday, which is today. I took my first BC pill but I don't know if I misunderstood the nurse...was I suppose to take it the first Sunday of my period? Is it okay that I began my BC pill although I'm not on my period? Will it reduce its effectiveness? How long will I have to wait before having sex without a backup method?

The BC pill: Do I take the green ones or the the white ones or both?

I started taking the pill yesterday, my doctor said to take the white inactive pills for a week then take the blue ones, then there were green ones to take while on my period, he said I could start that day, so I did and then today I started my period, do I take the white or green ones or do I take both?

Okay i want to get on birth control but i dont know which one to choose , i was on the shot before and it mad me blow up :/ and i know i wouldnt be able to take thee pill because i forget and loose things alot are there any good ones out there???????

Birth control pills isn't effective the first day you take them?

I wanted to be put on birth control pills and I went to my doctor like suggested. He gave me the pills and explained about them but said I needed to be on them for at least 1 full month before they became completely effective and I don't end up pregnant. When I asked here before somebody said they are effective immediately. I told my doctor that somebody said they were effective immediately and slightly laughed and was like I hate how teens get these stupid rumors and something like that's how so many girls wind up pregnant. Who is right? My doctor or you guys?

Are you suppose to wait 10 days after your period so you can have unprotected sex and not get pregnant. I know the pills arnt 100% effective but is there a higher risk before or after you period to get pregnant?

im 17 i have had my period when i was 11 so it should be regular. im on birth control i missed just one day and took two pills later then usual thiss week. so on sunday i had some brwon discharge blood. happend to me before like during my period or after now its like days before my period and i googled it and it could be a pregnancy sighn which is possible i do have sex. but its soooo annoying i hate having this brown blood coming out and im supposed to have my period next week or sometime thiss week. im over it and want to know what i should do. does anyone go through this? should i get off the pill? missing one day seriously messes my period up like that it does this when i miss a couple days and when im supposed to get my period it lasts...

How would you go about bringing up birth control to a parents who is 100% against sex before marriage? I wouldn't if I didn't have to, but I don't want to worry about getting pregnant.

I take birth control pills and have been for 2 months now. I was talking about it to my boyfriend and he was saying how we wouldn't have to use condoms if we were to have sex since I'm on the pill now. Is that true? Can you get pregnant while on birth control pills or not?

I can't get horny for my boyfriend anymore. It feels good when he touches me and I still love him, but I just can't.
If it helps I haven't had my period since July 21st and I started the BC shot in August ( my periods are always irregular). Also. I;m 100% not pregnant ( got tested).
What doctor do I need to see?
Do I need to take hormones?
Is it the pill?
Please help!

I am wondering how i can get birth control without my family knowing. Also obviously I can not drive yet. I want birth control for two reasons, one to reduce my period because I have to change a super tampon every 2-1/2 hours and also, if I might want to lose my virginity at some point. I just wanna be extra safe against stds and pregnancy. can you please help me? Its urgent.

How Effective Is Birth Control After Two Weeks?

My doctor says birth control is fully effective after a month. I've been on it for 2 weeks, how effective should it be right now? I usually use 2 methods for birth control (condoms and spermicide) because it makes me feel more comfortable. I just want to know when i can just use just one.

i forgot to take my birth control pill!

so i forgot to take my pill at 7:30 last night and ended up taking it around 2 today, and i took my one for today at my regular time. Except I just got my period...I was wondering if it will last the whole week or if i keep taking my normal pills will it stop it? Also, should i still take the week of placebos next week or skip over to a new pack?

Doubleing up on birth control pills over and over again... Side effects?

I rrecentl just went through a break up and my mind hasn't been right. I keep forgetting to take my birth control and have to double up. I took it monday but forgot tuesday. So I doubled wednsday. But I forgot thursday so I doubled today. Is this going to affect me in a bad way. Like physically because of the hormones?

I lied about being on birth control pills

I have been seeing my boyfriend for almost 6 months now and we started having sex more than a month ago. Things have been going great but now I'm in this situation where I don't know what to do.
He asked me if I was on birth control pills and I had told him yes because I REALLY wanted to have sex with him right away when we started discussing it. I'm not on birth control pills though. I know it isn't good to lie but at the time I didn't think it was going to matter a lot.
We were still using condoms every single time but last night he said he wanted to do it without a condom. I convinced him to wear one anyways but afterwards he was talking about not going to use one next time since I'm already on the pill.
