I accidentally spilled Clorox on the carpet in our game room. I dried it up as fast as I could and poured water over it then cleaned the water up. After the water, I used carpet cleaner then I vacuumed over it so it would soak up any bleach that was left. Is that what I should have done or did I make it worse? Is there anything else I can do to make sure that part of the carpet won't turn white? It's a beige color.

Roaches

Ok so at the moment I am in hawaii at my aunts house and the place is INVESTED with roaches. usually i wouldnt mind them, but yesterday they were all over my bed and it was gross. we dont have time for an exterminator and wouldnt want one because of a price...so does anyone know any homemade tricks on how to trap roaches? i heard theres one trick about peanut butter and a jar but im not sure...

Sharpies on Plastic!

So, I have a few LEGO peices I Sharpied back when I was dumb, and I wanna get rid of the marks now. Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of the marks? Like, what to use, how much of it, where to get it, etc.

I have like a million lotions and i have sooo many i can never find the kind i want. what are some ways to organize them so i can see all of them but it doesnt look junky like just sitting all of them on a big counter!! thanks!!!

velour fabric damaged and color faded

i got a creanberry juice stain on my green velour sweat pants, and my mom put tide detergent on just the part where the stain was. the stain came out, BUT the fabric is damaged. Instead of being velour, it's kind of towel-textured and the color faded. (i think because we used Tide with bleach)
Is there any way to fix my pants??? someone PLEASE help me. they are my favorite!!!

She didn't leave food in her room, but it is now infected with mealworms and beatles. She wants to know why, and how to get rid of them.

14/f. I have ants in my room, and I already vacuumed as many as I can, but they keep coming back.& We don't have raid because it gives my mom a miagrane. Anything non-chemial that I can use to keep them away?

How to get paint out of clothes?

I have white paint on the shirt I got from my Uncle. When he was my age (A long time ago) He got white paint on the shirt and the paint brand and type is unknown. WD40 Could not get it out. It also for sure is paint. THe T-Shirt is 100% cotton made by: Gildan Active Ware Ultra Cotton Heavywright.

Getting rid of mice

I'm a bit of a slob, and while re-organizing my closet (aka picking my clothes up off the floor), I found a whole lot of mouse poop. I don't really keep food in my room, and when I do eat in my room, it's not in the closet.
So how do I get rid of the mice? I keep my clothes in this area, so I'd rather not use strong chemicals. I also don't want to be picking up dead mice. So what's the most humane, safest way to get rid of them?

Okay, my room is extremely messy..nothing is clean..and i feel like i cant do anything else until i get my room clean..so the problem is I HATE HATE HATE cleaning...esp. my room because it seems like a lost cause..to kinda give you an idea..i have a king size bed and there are clothes, magazines, and a bunch of other stuff on there that shouldnt be..the problem is i dont know where to start...should i start by putting away my clothes? picking up things on the floor or picking up trash or what? This 'family' totally makes me wana freak out

There is this family friend who is helping our family while my grandma has a stroke. I dont mind her helping because we always help her financially. You see she isn't finacially well off and I heard she theifs. Okay so that set me back, and now she wants to come and stay 3 days a week by us. I totally hate her she jus comes and preaches n my mum is always taken back by her. She's always like how she knows what she's doing and my mum doesn't think about my grandma she jus talks to this lady WHOLE friggin day and it pisses me offf and I break down! How can I stop her comin?

I accidently left my favorite water bottle filled with juice at work over the weekend, and now I can't get rid of the 'rotten smell'. But I don't want to just throw it away - I am quite attached to it.
