Low-Carb foods Posted Friday June 8 2007, 7:18 pm
So I'm on a low-carb diet that allows a maximum of 20 carbs a day. This diet really seems to help me lose weight, but in the beginning I always have cravings for foods I can't have (obviously). I've been having things such as chicken, cheese, eggs, avacados, burgers things like that. So does anybody have any suggestions for different snack foods or even meals/recipes? Any feedback is appreciated =]

baked rack of lamp recipe Posted Wednesday May 30 2007, 5:29 pm
hey.
i have a rack of lamb from trader joe's. & it's thawed. um, i sorta need a recipe for it... but it has to be baked. i have mustards, cheeses, etc. so i was thinking of just a simple salt, pepper, cheese one? would that taste really bad / weird with the cheese on it? (it's good cheese - like mozzeralla). can someone help me? i WILL NOT be offended if you give me constructive critisism on the cheese idea. i just sorta love cheese on everything. hahah! i don't have too many exotic ingredients, but if you ask me some questions i'll add info to this question so you can properly answer it :]
thankss.

Salad Dressing Recipe Posted Monday May 21 2007, 8:46 pm
I went to this restaurant a couple months ago (the kind wherethe chef guy cooks right in front of you) and they served this salad with AMAZING dressing and I've been dying to have it again but since I can't get to the restaurant, I've been looking for the recipe online. But I haven't had very much luck, so I'm coming here for advice! :)
It was kind of creamy dressing, and tasted a lot like soy sauce. I've looked all over the internet for a soy sauce salad dressing but I can't find any that aren't like, vinegarettes.
I don't know how much help that is, but if someone could at least point me in the right direction, i would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks! :)

What are the Most Popular or your Favorite Foods Posted Monday May 14 2007, 3:50 pm
I need your help deciding what the ideal menu for a public dinner would be.
Not knowing what would be the best dishes to serve is making this an impossible task.
If you will tell me your favorite foods, or point me to your favorite recipes, it would really help a lot.
You can list as many things as you like. They don't have to be fancy things at all. I am all about the comfort food baby! :)
This will be a mixed group of people so I would like to have something for everyone.
Cooking for a banquet is not as hard as trying to figure out WHAT to cook!
Everyone will receive feedback.
Thank you!
P.S. If all that was a lot to ...

I want to try making cannoli's and have been looking at different recipes, all of the ones I have found have chocolate and/or orange in the filling. I even found one that had cherries it in. All I want is a simple riccotta, sugar and I think its almond extract recipe. Does anyone have one or know where I could find one?
