Well, I've been pretty obese for a long time, and I'm just sick of it..... I try losing weight, but I always end up gaining it back! I want to lose weight, but how can I gain will power?

I became a vegetarian over a month ago and I've been eating much healthier meals and consuming much less calories than I used to, and no I'm not starving myself. But I haven't lost any weight at all? I'm overweight so believe me there's a lot of weight to be lost but why aren't I losing it?

My family and friends all tell me I am very light on my feet. But I know sometimes it means graceful but I am a former gymnast and now do ballet and am not too graceful yet. My friends all say that I jump like a gazelle. I am not too skinny because my bones are well built and I am pretty strong.Thanks!

I want to lose 10 or maybe 15 lbs in 2-3 weeks. Working out eating 1200 calories. Is that reasonable?

I am 5'8. To give an idea of my dimensions, my measurements are 44-38-48. The mechanical scale in my bathroom says 216. The electronic scale at my home reads 219. The electronic scale at the gym reads 226.
For my weight loss tracking I just use the mechanical one at home, trusting that if the number is going down and my clothes are getting looser that I am indeed losing weight (~30 pounds gone so far, baby! WOO! :) ), but I just can't help wondering which one is more likely to be accurate?
When I tell people I weight as much as 226 they seem like they can hardly believe me, for whatever reason. I don't know if they're just being polite or if the gym scale is a little off.. What do you think?

I'm 13/f in 8th grade. i am running the 1600 for track and field. i am really nervous. i have won many cross country meets but track meets make me so much more nervous! everyone is watching! how can i calm myself down and focus during the race? also what are some tips for running it? i can't control myself right now. i am a nervous nelly.

Don't have a crush on him and if I tell him he will hate me it already happend when I told someone but he knows I have a boyfriend but still likes me and he understood I wanted him too add me on Facebook but I didnt it will be soooo invarrising if I go to my fittness class +he gets to touch my body becuse he corrects me

I was wondering if anybody could help me in either adjusting what i'm currently doing, or teling me when they think I would see results.
I am about 130/135 pounds and 5'4. I am what you would refer to as "skinny fat" I look of average thiness but I have a lot of fat on my stomach...its not flat at all. I do, however, have fairly small legs (I carry all of my weight in my stomach and my boobs). I run about 2 miles every day (or I aim for everyday..sometimes its 6) and I eat relatively healthy. I eat cereal with banana, turkey sandwiches, sometimes i have a little peanut butter and then often salads. I am certainly not super healthy but I don't eat a ton of junk. Does anybody know when I will start to see results from...

I'm a cross country runner, and have been running for about a year now. I've been increasing my mileage since the end of the season, and I've been so happy with my results! I am a senior, and have been training for a division 3 college team for next fall. The problem is, though, my running has gotten so much worse this past week. Formerly I could run about 10 miles and my muscles wouldn't even feel sore! But the other day when I went to the track for speed work, I could barely finish a mile. I have no idea what happened! I'm pretty devastated, though. I'm not recovering from injuries or anything. I do have two theories: I haven't eaten meat in like a month, so maybe I'm lacking protein? I also haven't gotten more than 4hours of sleep in a l...

I'm hoping for some exercise advice. I'm about to start a second part-time job. It it only temporary, but it will leave me with virtually no free time during the week to work out. I could get up super early and work out but I have trouble sleeping and am really bad at waking up early. So my question is, how do you think I can find time to exercise enough during this extremely busy period of time?

19/f I'm looking for suggestions and/or tips on how to lose weight. I'm 5'10 and the 230lbs (the last time I was weighed at the doctors which was months ago) I would really like to lose weight in my stomach area, my thighs, and my arms. I eat fruit everyday and water and pineapple juice is really all I drink. I attempted to start the Special K diet, but I've kind of given up on that. I also consume sweets all the time, its like a constant need, so any tips on how to curb my appetite would also be helpful. And exercises that I could do at home, I do go walking on the trail with my friend 2-4 times a week for about an hour. Thanks all suggestions and comments will be helpful
