I just found out my dad cheated on my mom when she was with us (she passed away)....what would your normal reaction be?
It is it ok to be freaking out and mad?

Ok, I just found out that someone I knew was actually my half-brother. Before, I liked them...but now I don't know what to do or how to to react. Should I confront my dad? (Mom's dead)
What would you do?
Talk to him calmly, let off some steam...???

mom wants me to see psychiatrist

I was having a heart to heart talk with my mom last night and she mentioned that maybe I should go to a psychiatrist. At first I thought she was joking, and then I realized that she was serious. I was (well still am) really hurt and shocked. I don't think I have a problem at all, and my mom really isn't one to go to psychiatrists which is why I'm so hurt because my mom thinks I'm so messed up that I need professional help.
I'm very upset, I don't think I have any problems, and I think that there are a couple people in this family that need help way more than I do. I just feel attacked and sort ostracized by my own mother right now.
I just need a pep talk or just any feedback would be nice. Thank you.

I have liked girls since like I was 8. I told my mom and now it jus tore us apart. I'm scared to tell my dad because he hates homosexuals! And like I don't know. I'm scared about me and my moms realationship. And I dont know what to do

Okay.. I am 23 Years Old. see I have a dad and a step mom.. My dad and I are not very close.. I love my dad and everything. my parents dont listen to what i have to say. If it is important they say " Whatever it is, the answer is no" or " I DONT CARE WHAT IT IS!" i hate it! how do i talk to my parents without them interrupting me all the timeor end up arguing?

Neighbors are Gossipers

I have tried to have cordial relations with my neighbors, but do not have particularly close friendships with any of them.
A little over a year ago, a young man started coming to my home on a regular basis whenever my wife was out of town. After a while, he began spending the night with me when she was away.
Evidently, some of my neighbors noticed these visits and started gossiping about it, spreading the rumor that I am gay and that this young guy is my lover. More recently, however, he has spent the night when my wife is present, so now my neighbors think something kinky is going on.

Applying for tv show?

Wasn't sure what category this would go under, so I apologize if I am wrong.
Anyways, I browsed around the TLC website trying to find a place to apply for your own t.v show, and I couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know where you could apply?
My dad is a paraplegic and I thought it would never hurt to try out for a show for him, with his permission. I doubt anything would come of it but, who knows.

My Dad Hates My Boyfriend

16/f. So, around the time the new year started, I started dating my current boyfriend. I care about him a lot because we were friends before dating and we can tell eachother anything. Anyways, my dad doesn't like him, at all. He thinks that my boyfriend has "no personality", no direction in life, and only after sex. When I first found out how he felt about him, it really hurt, because he's actually the complete opposite. my son married last july to a girl who is a bully.she likes to be the center of attenion all the time. she talks about flirting with my sons friends and their coworkers in front of my son (they both work at the same company). she has begun to alienate my son from his friends and family (his sister & us) who try to tell him how he's not being treated properly. she called my son's sister stupid in front of both of us with no regard for what she said. he has to get permission to put gas in his car! she gets mad if a friend texts him on his phone. she'll text that person at the same time and ask why he's not texting her. she hates most of her coworkers and talks horribly about them. my son seems to know how bad it's gotten, but is in...

I'm 16f and my brother is 14. His room is next to mine. about two weeks ago I was looking for something ona a high up shelf in my room and I noticed a small hole in the wall. I looked through it but couldn't see anything. I didn't think anything about it and sorta forgot about it. Then like 5 days ago I was in my room getting ready for bed and right when I took off my bra and panties to take a shower I heard a noise right where the hole is. This is long, so please bear with me.
I've been having some issues with my future brother-in-law (I'll call him J). He and my fiancee (I'll call him S) are twins, and had a closer relationship than most brothers. S has been fine about putting me first, but J views me as an intrusion on their relationship. No matter how many times S or I try to put J in his place (i.e. me BEFORE J), he just doesn't get the idea. He still sees it as him and his brother against the world.

Father Left a Year ago!

My father left us Jan 2008. Him and my mother alwasy had issues but he officially took his stuff and left. He has slept in shelters, gone out with random women, put his name in the newspaper statign he was looking for a women. He left us with over 20 K in debt and now we have to go bankrupt because we dont have enough income. I REALLY want to go to school, and I have applied but recently I have had to support me and my mother with food and rent and so have of my savings are gone. okay, so my dad is 46, my mom and him got divorced when i was 7 and my brother was 12, well now im 16 and my brother is 21. my mother is all up in my life. She keeps taking my stuff away because of my grades. My teachers won't help and i explained that. We can't afford a tutor or anything and i lose my concentration with people talking. My mom reads the notes i write and listens to my phone calls what can i do to get my mother off my back and my grades up
