im worried about my best friend..

im 15 years old and in the 9th grade ive been best friend with this girl named rebecca, we've been best friends since 6th grade and we were pretty much inseperable! we hung out every chance we could, she's slowly starting to change though and now its like she doesnt even want to hangout with me anymore. everytime i ask her to hang out with me shes always like ''i cant im grounded'' or ''my moms being gay and wont let me do anything'' and then like 20 minutes later on myspace she'll post her status as hanging out with so and so! when she just told me she was grounded. why would she lie to me? i mean i understand shes going to have other friends but that doesnt mean she has to get rid of all of her old ones.i'd rather her tell me the truth t...

okay im 15 sophmore and the last day b4 vacation started my friend george told me that he's friend xavier wanted to see me b4 8th period he had chines and have polish and those classes are next to each other. so i went there and i saw him i know he saw me and he was pushing his frineds inside the class room alonge with him self. and i waited incase he would you know come back out. but he never did. so i went to my class feeling all bumbed. he said he liked me and i like him to. so know schools going to start and im not sure what i should do. aproach him or talk to him. i just dont know what to do.

I have this friend, she is kind of a bezzie but, she gets really annoying, she hears but doesnt listen and if you tell her something, she'll just be like 'yeah yeah, lets go shopping' and she gets dictracted 2 easily. when i ask her why she doesnt listen, she just says something like 'im dumb' or'argh, stop it i dont know ok' then goes off in a sulk-help...plz? BTW im fourteen, not four so plz be honest...

i need help

i need help finding some friends that will always hangout with me and always do something. im the kid at school that is a great athlete and everybody views that im good at everything. I switched schools after middle school and none of my friends went to my new school so i knew absolutely no one there, it was hard to make friends cuz most kids ther already had ther cliques of friends and im kind of a shy kid with little self confidence so i had trouble finding friends, and i still dont have that one rly good friend. i hav a few friends but they all live at least 20 miles from me and its tough to get together. we do every once in awhile, but most weekends im alone and hav nothing to do. im also a little overweight which doesnt help my confide...

I am a 16 year old female. I used to be best friends with this girl Lea. Lea became friends with this other girl Helen. All of a sudden Lea became really mean and she constantly picks fights with me. Helen has definately changed her because she is mean. Now, Lea taunts me by saying "I have more friends than you" when she actually only has 3. I have a great group of friends. She accuses me all the time of starting fights when I don't. A couple of people are now on her side because she tells them mean things I said to her. Lea thinks it's ok to get mad at me but it's not ok when I get mad at her. Now she tells everyone I'm rude so now everyone is against me and on Lea's side. I don't do anything wrong! Getting Past Bad Blood

I found out today that my ex-boyfriend from a couple years ago was invited to the same small new year's party as me. I haven't been able to stand being around him since we broke up, and every time I'm in a room with him, we end up fighting. I would love to hear anyone's suggestions as to how I can work through these bad emotions. I really don't want my new year's eve to be ruined by negative feelings for one person. I get really worked up every time I even think about being around him, though. How can I stay calm?

My best friend likes me

So my best friend came out to me the other day. I did not think anything of it, and she is still my best friend. However, she just told me that i was the reason she likes girls. I was "that girl" that she liked. I obviously still love her as my best friend, however, i sometimes feel awkward going over to her house and watching a movie, or just doing anything close to her. What should i do? i dont want it to ruin our friendship.

This may be in the wrong category. I wasnt sure which to put it in.
So here is my problem. My friend is 19 and she is married with a one year old girl. Her husband is a total jerk. He is abusive toward her and in fact, he was arrested last week for almost killing her. (Accidently) He was bailed but he will be going back after court. We cant convince her to leave him, but we are hoping she will come to realization when he is gone.
Thats not the problem. The problem is she is not a good mother and this poor baby lives in this horrible and dangerous environment. I really want to call Child Services (or whatever its called) and keep it annonymous. But if she finds out, her and many more people will give me such a ...

Hello I am a women that has known another women for a very long time. Her and i both had husbands and kids. Her husband died. Hi, I am a 17f. I really don't have any friends, well I had one.. she really hurt me in the end and we aren't friends no more..
Anyhow, I am alone, I don't have any close friends, I've never met a guy worth dating, and I was wondering if you know of anything; a camp, something like that, that a girl could go to in the summertime to make some awesome lifetime friendships. I am very outgoing, I love art, sports, music, dancing, pretty much anything.. and I really want to know of someplace I could go that is not too expensive, but would be a great place to just hang out, do some fun stuff, and make friends this summer. Please share any ideas you may have

Sleepover/goodbye party!

So I'm having this goodbye sleepover party since I'm leaving and I was wondering what kind of stuff we could do and what food might be good? I already bought oreas, cheesecake, crackers and cheese, coke, chips and marshmellows? I'm more about the activities? I was thinking something fun where we could video tape us playing so I can remember it later on. Maybe something like a card game where you have to like get caked or something? Any ideas! Just anything fun and memorable that will make us all laugh! By the way there's four of us altogether. I don't really want to watch a movie because that's kind of boring. Please help! It's tomorrow!

My best friend is a sweetheart. I mean, he's the nicest person ever in the world. He waits for me in classes, he carries my stuff, he treats me anything I want, he refuses to sleep unless if I sleep [like when its really late], he drives to pick me up sometimes after my afterschool activities to treat me ice cream, and many more. I always tell him "no matter how many thank yous I say, it'll never be enough for your kindness is beyond" however, he's very cold towards others. He's just the type who's mean on the surface but really sweet inside.

17/f I'm a junior in high school and the school has a little over 4000 kids. I have many friends and they are all in different groups. The amount of close personal good friends I've made since freshman is around 30. amount best friend has made 0. She gets jealous easy and doesn't get along with my friends (almost cost me one of my best friends) so I've tried to get her friends with some of my friends. She always had complaints, they partied too much, too stuck up, too punkish, too hippie, etc. But I have a few friends who were just average and nice. She hardly talked! It's really irritating and she is my bestest friend when were alone but with others? Is no fun at all.

So I have this friend, who told me her crush. and she obviously told me her crush because she trusted me. well, one day, i accidentally slipped her secret. this guy asked me who my friend's crush was. and i told him. i did it for a lollipop. i was really hungry. I know this was really stupid of me. but i had to tell him.
My friend got to know that i told that guy about her crush...then my friend got really mad at me. she ignored me for about one month!! :(

well 15/f and sorry if long . but me and my bestfriends we all chill and hang inside and outside of school well when they all got mad at me for breaking up with my boyfriend and they told me that i was stupid for it and the fact that i did it i told them to leave me alone and then they finally became my friend they said that they wont get mad well someone said that i said something about them and now that i said that they were a slut they said they dont want to talk to me and that they hate me should i confront them about some of the stuff i heard that came from there mouth about me or should i just leave me alone.

Still cant make friends in college

Its been 15 weeks since I came to this college, and I still don't have any real friends. Yes I talk to people every now and then but I still feel really alone. I have left my dorm room door open most of the time and not a single person has ever walked up and started talking to me. I have joined clubs but they are not really active and everyone seems to scatter when the meetings end. It's now the end of the semester but I am hoping that next semester brings a new start and I want some advice on what I can do to meet people
