i want my hair to look wet an dcurly, but not too short, or poofy. and, i want to kno how i can get it to stay looking like that all day! is there another way to get it like that, without scrunching it? cuz that doesnt work on my hair!

are the maybelline mineral power POWDERS good?
i bought one b4 and didnt like it because i think i got on that was too light for me so i hated it.
but if i chose the right shade, do you think ill like it?
ive heard great stuff bout it, why do you think its that good?

1 are NYX cosmetics really that good? especially theres an advantage to how cheap their products are ?
2 From one to ten ten being the best, how would you rate the cosmetics?
3 are their eyeshadows good and highly pigmented?

Changing my look

I am fed up and bored with my look. I tend to wear t-shirts and jeans and converse, with just a bit of makeup and straight hair all the time, and at 15, it's getting boring and I want to be abit more individual - but I don't know where to start! I don't really have much money either, so how can I change my appearance to express my personality without spending a fortune?
I'm 15, female.

I have long blonde hair.. and my homecoming is coming up soon and i have a short blue dress it's really cute.. anyways i wanna do my hair kind of simple half up half down with loose curls but i cant find any pictures/dont have the patience to look through a million so links of hairstyles would be very helpful!!

work better than those big scissor-like eyelash curlers? they dont pinch your eyes.. but how good are the curls achieved with them?

Never ever pump the mascara wand in and out of the tube, this causes air to fill into the tube which causes the mascara to dry out faster.
^ air does get into the tube though when you put the brush back in, doesnt it? just not as much?
what if you need a second coat? by pumping is it repeated pumping thats not good or can you just put the wand in and wriggle it around then take it back out?

does anyone have any ideas for a halloween costume for a 13 year old (me)? stuff that is original and an outfit that i can put together myself. (example:last year i was a football player)
and i dont want to get it from party city or stores that have the costume already made up, because everyone gets it from there and i want to be original.

but I'm still not sure what shoes I should wear. I have enough money to buy a new pair of shoes for under $100. I'm not sure what color or kind i should get. i dont want super fancy shoes because the dress already has lots of detail but i want the shoes to go along with my outfit.
