Craigslist apartments

I'm a small town boy, soon to be moving to a big city. I'm trying to look for a room in an apartment, and have been looking on craigslist.
I've never done this sort of thing before, and so I'm a bit confused.
Some of the pictures look like they've been taken off a website i.e. they look like billionaire penthouses. Are these scams? Is there any damage in contacting them?
Also, any other tips you could give me when searching for a place on craigslist? I.e. what to look for, what to avoid, how to tell if its fake/a scam?
Any help is much appreciated!

I was just wondering for girls gymnastics in the Olympics..do the girls wear anything under the uniforms like underwear or anything? It seems like they dont because I'd imagine they would show? Just curious !

I'm trying to understand why growth in Africa is so slow. How can time, or lack of infrastructure be a problem when Japan overcame two nuclear bombings to be one of the most successful countries in the world, only decades later. And even look at other countries that are progressing fast, like China and Brazil. It's not like it's impossible for life in many countries around the world to improve. I'm just confused at what's stagnating things. I know governments are greedy, but if people can start their own private businesses they can employ people, and then be able to make money for themselves. and the more that happens, the better the country becomes. Okay, please don't be too skeptical in responses.
I know without doubt my eyes saw a UFO. I have seen one 4-5 times in my life. 4-5 times this past year.
One was really close in my sight. It was an aircraft, not at all like an airplane. The whole thing reflected bright white light. It was shaped like maybe a rocket ship and it passed from one side of the sky to the other at great speed. It wasn't that high up. Maybe the distance as close to the earth as a helicopter.

im 16/f looking foward to getting my bellybutton pierced. but in the past dont know why i did this dont judge loll but when i was kinda insecure i waxed on my stomache because i thought the hair was gonna get thinner and lighter by doing so, but the opposite happened so i had to wax it a few more times.its just darker and thicker.dont get me wrong its not like anything or anywhere near like shaving hair. but it does bother me because in general i just hate having hair there. ive tried using hydrogen peroxide which did absolutley nothing. i need something that is going to make it lighter and thinner or go away forever. so advice! thanksss

My family moved to America in 2000, when I was 6, and even though I'm now 18, I still occasionally find myself missing living in England. My parents are Cameroonian, and when I was 5 I lived in Cameroon for 1 year, but I don't find myself missing Cameroon as much, even though I had a very good time there, too. I guess it might be because my parents are Cameroonian, as well as my extended family, so that part of me never left.

I don't understand. why do they feel so threatened? i'm a black girl, who's down with dating anyone i'm compatible with, because i'm not racist. I don't understand all the controversy on the internet.
even in real life, my parents seem like they'd prefer if I married another African, for cultural reasons, and I think if I dated someone who wasn't African (not even African American, unless they're like 1st generation), my parents wouldn't think the relationship would last, because of "irreconcilable differences". Should I be concerned about my (black) brother using white avatars online?

He's 7, btw.
He occasionally plays on some virtual gaming site for kids, where people can create avatars of themselves, to roam the little "gaming world", with has other avatars. I noticed his character was white with blonde hair, while he is dark skinned with black/dark brown hair, as he comes from a West African family. We live in America, in a small town that's diverse, but predominantly white and asian (specifically, mostly indians and koreans).
Multiple times I'd suggested he make his avatar look like him, and he refused. Weeks later, I confronted him about it and kept pressing him about why he made his avatar look the way it does. He said that he made the avatar to be one of his closest friends...

What is this?? I literally bought Late Night, Generations, and Ambitions only about 2 weeks ago. And I got Pets this weekend, and it worked fine. I just played and saved the game last night, and when I opened it today for the first time, I got this error. And I restarted the application multiple times, and I'm still getting this error.
Dear god, let this be fixable. I don't want all the time I spent on that town to go for nothing. If I have to lose the game I don't even want to play Sims anymore, and I want a refund. If this issue isn't fixable then what's the point of starting another game when the same thing could happen to it in the future? This is ridiculous. Their looks just look average to me. If anything, above average, but if I saw one of them on the street I wouldn't be like "wow, he is so hot!" I'd just see them as just some regular guy. Not ugly or anything, though.
Celebrities I do find attractive are people like Andrew VanWyngarden (MGMT), David Bowie (when he was younger, without the makeup), and Syd Barrett (when he was young). I don't know, personality really makes me attracted to a guy, too. Channing Tatum and Ryan Gosling just seem like typical guys, so maybe that's what I don't find attractive. I have only played about ten times in my life. It's really confusing. I have heard of open, middle, and end moves. Do they really play a key role? I am so bad I lose or draw on level 1 on my computer. I have won once. I am not the planning ahead type thinker. How do you build fortresses based on possible moves down the line? I am always many steps behind. Please help.

Hey everyone(: well I recently started watching the movie anne of Greene gables and I loved it! Well me and my mom went to go get the sequel, called Anne of green gables the sequel though, it is also known as Anne of avonlea. Well I looked it up on Wikipedia to see what it was about, and it said the movie went all the way through to we're Gilbert has Scarlett fever and she accepts his marriage proposal. Alright, so I'm just curious to know how many of you believe in ghosts and like paranormal activity?
I was always a bit sceptical until something really strange happened my sister..
She has a baby boy who is 6months old and she was over at her boyfriends house,(he lives with his grandparents)he was outside working.

So recently I wrote a story and I've posted it on a writing website, but now I'm regretting it because this is actually the first story I've written that I can say I am super confident and proud of. I'm wondering if I should take it down and finish it on my own time, then attempt to publish it? Would this work or should I leave it posted?
