I'm a 13 year old girl and I want advice tips etc to help me become a better singer. people say you have to be born with a great voice but i wanna no how to be a good singer. I mean I can rap i just wish soo much that I could be a good singer. Please help! Thanks. :)

i love singing and i love songwriting. but i'm not sure that my voice is where i want it to be. there are no vocal coaches where i live but i am taking classes during school. all i want to improve on is volume,control,vibrato and how to stay in tune. so any vocal exircises that could help?
also i want to be able to sing in front of people.

So im 13 and ive been depressed over the year but i've gottena lot better, and to cope my therapist said i should do things/activites that make me happy, so i love to do art/paint, im doing that, and i love music so i figured i would try acoustic guitar for the first time, because music is such a big big inspiration and help to my life and way of living, so ive been looking on ebay and there is one that is really nice with a stand, pick, guitar case and other free accessories and its like totally new, its $30+s&h=$40, which is really good, i already have $10, and i already do chores but my mom wont pay me, and i need to get this guitar within 13 days? any advice/help????!! neeeeed this guitar, im going to babysit and make alootttt of m...

Ways to get recognized as a singer, and get some stage experience as well?

So I am 14 going to be 15 and I have been told many times that I am an amazing singer. I love to sing and I am sure that it is what I want to do. I play piano and guitar too. Anyway, I want some ideas of how to get in the music industry. I don't care if it makes me famous or not I just want to sing and get some stage experience. The reason I am starting so young is I want to get a head start on it. Any ideas on what I could do?

Singing voice sounds horrible when it's recorded

we were doing this class concert thing and decided to sing for the fun of it, i told people before that i can't really sing but after my friends were like wow you're great and some other girls in my class said so too so i decided to record my voice on my phone and when i played it back i sounded so gross like a little 5 year old my voice was all high and stuff. My teachers from my old school said i was a good singer too but i think maybe they were just being nice to me even though i told them i don't really care if they say i sing bad, i was wondering if it was the recordeed or i just can't sing and people are being nice?

My group of 4 guy friends want me to sing with them in their reggae band, and I'm soo excited because I love singing and its on my bucket list to join a band. They play a show at least once a week at local lounges, clubs, bars..etc (im going to be 18 in a month so I dont have to worry about the age). A lot of the places get pretty packed with people.
My problem, hence the title, is my terrible stage fright. I know I have a really good voice, but when I know people are listening I freak out. I was in the top choir in my school, and even when I was with 20 other people I'd get so nervous. The only reason that the kid asked me to sing is that he heard me when I thought no one else was in the room haha.

I want a career in music...but can I get it?

Music is an important part of my life. I know it one of the things I could never live without. I play two instruments and have a few hundred songs on my ipod(it's an old nano so it's almost completely full). I especially love to sing and play popular songs on the piano. I always have fantasies of how I can become a famous singer even though my parents would never agree to it. One day in the car, my mom, brother, and sister, and me were singing to a song on the radio. She was joking around about how we could have a sibling band, but then she was like, "Too bad none of y'all can sing." Just fyi, i sing alot in the car and at home. Okay so yesterday I was getting a tattoo and inside they were playing what I THOUGHT was Andre 3000 so I didn't ask, but when I tried to look it up when I got home, I couldn't find anything that sounded like him. All that came up was his old Outkast songs and a couple songs that he has a small part in. But they played several songs that sounded like him, and it was like real rap, not pop or the stuff Outkast used to play. Is he under a different name now, or is it someone else that sounds like him?

Back when I used to watch Disney and Nickelodeon there were two songs that I remember from a movie and then another from a tv show.
The Disney movie I believe was Miracle in Lane 2 and I could have sworn I heard a song that was something to the effect of, "and I G I T T A G O way, and that I hope you will understand some day (and then it mentions something about best friends)" Does anyone know the name of that song??
Second song is from the tv show Tania and I had a cinnamon toast crunch cereal and inside was a cd with her music. One of them I really liked, but I can't recall what it was. I think it was a one word title, but if anyone can help me find it, that would be great.
