once a class is over, and the report cards are out and youre at home during the summer.. is it possible to argue with a teacher about it the following school year? or how about from an year ago?

School depressing!

Well Im going to start my last year of secondary, year 11 and we'll have o levels. the thing is... school is just SO depressing and sad. i have to get up at 7am and im NOT a morning person...the initials of my school are actually S.A.D. Its an all girls school! And the uniform is grey =/. And the rules are SO strict..we cant even choose what color bobble to wear in our hair...has to be wine coloured or black =/. My problem is that i dont know how im going to handle this year without getting depressed again =[ can someone plese help? whats worse is o levels are harder than gcses and school is so boring no boys... and what if im not even in my friends class which is likely?

absolute value

Okay, so we were reviewing absolute value in class on friday, and I know the basics and everything. However, there is one thing that I'm stuck on.
I know that |-9| = |9| (positive 9).
But, on our homework, we have to add the opposites..
|4-10| (which turns into 4 + -10)
|4 + -10|
My question is, would you turn -10 into a positive so that you would end up with |4 + 10| = |14|, or would you keep it negative, so when you get..:
|4 + -10| = -6, then -6 would turn positive.
See what I'm saying? Sorry if I'm making this more complicated than it seems, but I'm really stuck on this, and I need to get my Algebra review homework done.

I'm in the 10th grade and I'm having my A.P Euro exam on wednesday...the first one...and I'm really scared. does anyone have any clue at all how to study for these tests? Are they hard? :|
and also...do you think its stupid..if I can't do well in that class...for me to drop out and get an elective or something? >.<

ok so im in 7th grade. we are reading the book The Giver by Lois Lowry. In class we all have a vocabulary word to look up in our book. My word is benign, my teacher said it is in chapters 6-10. Does anyone have the book the giver and can you help me look for it in the book i have already looked for it twice...PLEASE PLEASE help me and tell me what page number it is on i dont no if it will help but i have the hardback cover thank you in advance!!!!! <3 <3 <3 Lesha

1st day back

I know being shy 't been sis for little kids and I havhy on the first day of school since gr. 4 but it it kinda a big year for me!! I was put in school a year late so I'm 13 going into gr 7. I know that I'm not the only one but I am scared of this is anyone has advice please let me know!!!!

i want to go to boarding school

this summer i went to a boarding school for camp and it was the funnest experience ever! the people there were awesome and since i was with them 24/7, they became my family. now that i'm back home in my small, private high school..i've actually been mildly depressed. i miss the freedom and the laughing 24/7 and everything!! it's just not the same..i mean i like my friends here but they're not very fun at school and i definitely dont see them as much and i dont really like living with my family..i love them soo much but its just that i'll still visit them and call them all the time!! the problem is..i mentioned casually to my parents if i could apply to a GOOD boarding school like phillips exetor or andover..but they were like "no your ...

rough and final drafts

okay, you know when you're writing, and your teacher asks you to write a rough draft? well, I did. and my classmates took turns correcting it for me (as part of a class assignment)
my question is : when you're typing up the final draft, are there allowed to be changes in the actual story from the way the story in the rough draft was originally? like...are you allowed to add on scenes?
