ROTC???

Hey! My bgf and his older brother (who was driving me home) kept saying i should join ROTC i am not sure if i should but i could try it for only a semester. And i would get out of PE... what do u guys think? I am not really that type f person im more girly and preppy but i lead in my church and stuff and my bgf thinks its something i should def. try. His bro was coming up with all these reasons and stuff and super pressuring me! i think i should but idk! I guess how bad can it be right? plus i dont have to wear the uniforms (or i would SO be out) and it doesn't seem that bad. Leadership is super importante to me and i would make a lot ore friends. What do you think? Please help me decided whats best! I rate. :D Thanks

Hallo...I just started school...and I am 35 years old...so...as you can understand...I am kind of different. I dont wanna go to a night school(where I can find more people my age), cause I work at night as a stripper.
To make things worst..I also happen to be EMO. I was EMO before they had a word to describe EMO. Anyways..I am really desparate...I just cant fit in. Can you help me please? Tell me what am I supposed to do?

I've been in school for a week, and I feel/am so alone! I hate it so much. I came home crying. My parents keep saying it will get better after half a year or so..but I don't want to be the loner walking around on my own for 4 months! I've talked to some people...they are nice but they aren't exactly friends.
I hate being like this, and since all the lessons are mixed up, you don't have many lessons with the same people.
Can anyone give me ANY advice...and how could I make some friends at least?

I'm always a happy person, but for the first time in YEARS I'm depressed...

decorations ideas for homecoming

well, this is the first year our school has been open and so the theme for the first homecoming is a "black and silver ball" incidentally the schools colors. however im on student council which is like the homecoming committe this year and no one has any ideas for decorations! everyone wants this theme to work and for the homecoming to be extremely special. please please help. thanks

2. If x = 2a - b2, how do you figure out what "a" equals?

Graphing Equations

How do you hand-graph an equation like this:
f(x) = 3x^3 + 4x^2 - 3x + 1
Or any equations like that. We learned how to do it in Alg II last year, but the problem is that I don't know how to do it by hand at all & I can't find the notes on it. Our teacher gave us a pre-test type thing to our class to see where we were and one of the questions asked to graph an equation similar to that and to make sure all the points were indicated clearly on the graph. Well, I plugged it into my calculator, but I didn't know where to put the points at all, so I completely missed.
So, my questions are how do you hand graph an equation like that. And if you put it in your calculator, how do you know where to put dots on a graph on a paper? Thanks!

im a freshman in a secondary school. i've been going to public schools my whole life and now recently i am thinking about going to a catholic school. there is so much drama at my school and everyone there is so immature and the guys are really into the slutty girls and i am getting sick of it.
is catholic school really as bad as the people there say it is? is there a lot of drama? what are the guys like there? anyone who has been there can you please give me some background info on it; or if you've been to both public and private schools which one did you like better?

okay, well my english teacher gave my class a project to do, they said that we needed to create a "mobile".
she said we need:
seven items--these can be drawn constructed or bought
- these figures need to give the viewer a fair representation of the entire novel that you have read.
-figures must depict certain elements of literature...title, theme, plot, character, setting symbolism, etc.
but the main thing is she said
use a hanger or other material that will be sturdy and hold the weight of the items hanging from the mobile, we will hang them from the ceiling.
is there anything else you can use besides a hanger? because, i can't come up with anything ...

Ok this week was my first week of high shcool and almsot every homework we did, I busted my ass off and stayed up late doing it and the teacher doesn't even collect it!

for biology we have to take a piece of paper thats 4x6 and fold it in 1/2 we then have to cut it so we can fit through it and we can not glue the ends or tape them
