For my government class, I have to illutrate a political cartoon that demonstrates a weakness of the articles of conferderation.
I was thinking of The "no taxes " weakness, where the congress had to ask the states for money.
I need the states, i'm pretty sure they were once the 13 colonies and also does anybody have any ideas of how i can do this?

parents forcing me to go to school

i can't stand school. it's hard for me to explain to anyone, because it's not like i'm bullied or don't understand the work. i'm just so sick of everyone there. i'm sick of waking up with nothing to look forward to. all my friends have left school. i have anxiety when i wake up. i can't get to sleep at night. my bad grades from previous years have forced me to take regular classes, and now i know even less people than i did before. i just can't motivate myself. when i do badly in school, i'm grounded on the weekends, and being grounded makes me even more depressed during the week. i hate the school that i go to.
i've asked my parents to let me switch schools, take virtual school, or drop out. they just won't compromise with m...

I lost my recorder.

I had this really cheap sound/voice recorder to catch lectures as the teacher talks. I seemed to have lost it...because when I looked in my bag, I only found the cover for the batteries left from it. Should I be worried? Even if someone found it, they couldn't recognize my voice..

Can anyone give me a website or place that provides those pics where it has a big thick black border, and has a pic in the middle, and then has one word under the pic, and it has something kinda funny for the definiton? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Or maybe if you can tell me what they're called.

I am writing to ask whether at the end of this year, to be a day boy or stay as a boarder at the all boys school I go to.
I joined the school 2 years ago, year 9, thinking that this would be a good experience, but this was not right. Firstly, I'm a person who likes to have some time that is quiet, but you don't get any of that here: everybody shouts or they are crazy. This makes me have headaches and wants me to just sit in my room. However, I run a small shop to make some money to go to Costa Rica on a World Challenge expedition, which makes my room pretty popular - contrary to me.

This week!

Well, this week is going to be pretty special- I take the SAT's on saturday and I have not studied for it at all (plus i live in a non-english speaking country so its not like i can do it on my natural skills.. since ive studied math in my native language and english on a very basic level) I have a religion test (20 pages) on thursday, a math test (i have about 40 pages left to do to cath up with my class) on friday, and regular school work. I have a feeling that by the end of this week I'll be on my knees trying to kill myself. I believe in miracles, and God's capability to save me here.. but still, what can I do to prepare myself for the diaspointment to come? My one and only dream has been to take the SATs and move to the states, but sin...

9th grade female
Ok so well at school like alot of people are like omg are you high? do you smoke alot of weed? and all these jokes about me going to go get drugs and getting high and stuff and like thinking i do weed and stuff and well i DONT! and it's really annoying. But how do people act when they are on weed or whatever? because sometimes i do tend to act really tired in class and drousy because i take three pills a day for medical issues i have and so drousiness is one of the side effects. so how do people act when they are high or whatever because i dont want to act like that around the people that think im high.

For English class, I got assigned the Salem Witch Trials. To present our paper, we're suppsoed to act it out. Like, you can't read your paper, I have to act like I'm a witch and supposed to make up a story to show my class. I'm scared, and I dunno what to act out? I already planned having a court scene, where the witch is proven guilty. Any other ideas?

Senior Pranks.

About 3/4 of the seniors that attend my high school want to pull off a really good senior prank. We have only a few rules. Nothing severely vandalizing. Nothing illegal (to the point of jail time for those 18+), something that will be remembered, something that a bunch of people can do.
We don't want one of those stupid pranks that 4 kids do and barely anybody finds out about. We want our school and our class of 2008 to be remembered for a long time.
We are having secret meetings twice a month. We call ourselves the senior gift committee because we consider our prank a gift to all underclassmen. Something for them to remember and talk about for years to come.
We don't want to really hurt anybody,...

A.P weight on GPA

I have A.P Euro, and for the first marking period, there's a large chance I will get a C on my report card for that class. Will it affect my GPA DRAMATICALLY? I have a 3.8999 etc.

I'm in the 10th grade - My chemistry teacher is a flipping moron. He doesn't explain anything, he SAYS he's not going to explain anything, and all he ever talks about it getting a raise. And while this is going on, I have a f****** 1.5 average in his class because I can't understand CRAP. I have tried to read the book by myself, but I don't understand it. I need clarification from a teacher, you know? So now I'm stuck. I have straight A's in ALL of my classes except this one. And I don't know what to do. We have counselors at my school. But I'm not too sure if parents are allowed to talk about grades or anything. Any suggestions on this situation? :( I don't know what to do.
