Who ever is asking the Alicia questions needs to stop NOW. There are 3 pages of questions saying how pretty Alicia is, and no one even knows who alicia is.

Suggestion

I noticed recently that you have added options in the search for age and gender. Do you have to read each question and add that to the search? Wouldn't it make it easier if in the "Ask a question" section there were optional drop down boxes for gender and age like there is for category? Maybe a section for columnist name could be added since columnists ask questions then assume we know who they are.

Make-up

This is for the ladies to answer, or the guys if you can answer.
Right now I'm working on a new film short and my make-up artist is out of town and the others are already taken. SO ladies my lead actress has a light pimp (acne problem), and well I have but no choice to do the make up myself and I also have to buy the stuff in which I know nothing about.
So here is the question. What type or types of make up can cover her little problem and make her face look extremely smooth? Or anything that will allow hger to glow, what do you suggest.

Ratings Not That Big Of A Deal

I have something to say to all advicenators.
Ratings are nice and they help to know what other people think of the advice we give but their not THAT big of a deal.
I'm really tired of seeing everyone asking advicenators to "Rate" them. No I'm not trying to be rude but it seems like that is all everyone thinks about.
The more you give advice the more ratings you get. 80% 90% time people don't rate but as time goes on we all will get ratings.

I would like to take this time to ask anyone who asks for adivce to give us a rating. I for one have been a member of this site for a while and have answered numerous quetions and all I have to show for the hundreds of questions around about 20 ratings and responses. So please take the time to rate our adivce because we take the time to answer your questions.

Would it be too much to ask people to use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar on Advicenators? I know that for some people, typing chatspeak is a lot easier and quicker, but communication works both ways here, and if the other person can't read chatspeak, the point of the message gets lost. The use of chatspeak also implies hastiness and a lack of sincerity.

Ratings

It seems like people hardly ever rate advice they are given. I have seen people who have answered 200+ questions and only have about 15 ratings. Don't you think that if someone is nice enough to take the time to answer your question, you should at least be nice enough to take 30 seconds to thank them by rating their advice? I don't think it's too much to ask.

Question dissappeared

I was answering a question and it dissappeared! My answer is in my advice column, but the question isn't there. I can't go back and edit my answer, or remove it, because the question is not in the data base.
Did it get deleted by a moderator as I was writing? It didn't seem bad enough for that, or any worse than many questions on this website.

hey yall i want to goto a place called YMC it sorta like wood except that mon-wed you only behind bars for 20 min. and then you get to mess around but on thursday and friday they make you feel guilty . if you have suggestions please write me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how much should we monitor the columns?

Greetings, it's me, the advicenator_admin. Lately I've been receiving more requests to have people monitor the site for unsuitable content. Some people would rather give bad advice. I haven't cared much before, I mean, annoying questions are a problem because everyone reads those, but not everyone reads every advice column so who cares how bad it is? I look at advice columns like your own websites... unless it's really hateful, I see no need to try to ban people. Plus, so far when a columnist joins and decides it's funny to slam everyone and be mean, they've gotten sick of it after ten questions or so. No need to pick a fight when they're dropping out anyway.
What do you all think? Should we ban people with really awfu...

What exactly happens with the smiley's? Does everyone see the smiley ratings, or just the moderators? If I rate a question with a frown, will the person asking the question see it? It might be someone who simply asks a question that has been asked before, or a young person, who sincerely wants an answer. Then we "say your question deserves a frown because it is asked often or the grammar is wrong." Is this what is intended?
If it is rated a 3, does the question automatically go to the main page? The one about the girl who had sex with 5 guys and got pregnant is currently rated a 3. Someone else asked a question about smileys in the wrong category, and didn't phrase it well, and it has a 3.
