This might sound stupid...

I have never been made fun of or anything before in my life, cause I`ve never done anything to give anyone a reason to be mean to me. On Monday, I just sat where I did every day like all the other days and these other guys sat back there too. I was sitting with my best friend & they were saying how 'hot' she was and then they just randomly started making fun of me. They went on for about fifteen minutes about how ugly I was and everytime I`d turn around they would yell, "OH MY GOD! Ew!" I got off a stop early with my friend and just sat there and cried for about ten minutes. For some reason, this bothered me more than anything anyone has ever said to me. Private School

Does anyone go to a private high school? Or more spefcifically a private christian high school? I might be switching schools from public to a private christian school and im really nervous about making friends. Im usually pretty outgoing anf friendly but when i dont know people i tend to be quiet. Does anyone have tips or advice on making friends and how cliquey those types of schools are? I really need some help with how to make friends and be accepted and all that. At my public school new kids that conme during the yr seem to be accepted and given a chance at popularity and everyone seems to try and make friends with them, is it like that everywhere? I dont want to be popular i just want some really good friends that i can hang with witho...

School is so hard and like there is this one teacher who is so anoying and she is just on my back man so she wont leeave me alone and she told my mom that I was failing math and than I went to go ask my math teacher if I was and she was like no and she showed me the grade and its a C+ so she girl lied to me and she thinks shes all hott and stuff so ya I hate this girl should I tell my mom bout this or aonther person or what.

math problem

im in math and i have to do this problem
and it seems so impossible.
here it isss...
you have 5 barrels or hay. 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5. (you cant go like 3-2 or 3-4 cuase it means the same thing just the numbers flipped)
here are the weights of the barrels.
80, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 90, 91
the task is to figure out what barrel goes with what weight.
and i have no clue how to do that!
and i would google it but there is no way it would come up with an answer
if anyone can respond back to this before tomorrow
you would be my life saver!
also tell me how you got it. like right out the steps if thats possible

what does "a leer" mean? because "a" means "to" and leer unconjugated means "to read" so is it "to to read"???

Can someone please explain to me how you find an equation of a tangent line at a given point?
For example, how would you find the tangent line to y=tan(x) at the point (pi/4, 1)? I know the answer is y=2x+1-.5(pi) but I don't understand how you get that from y=tan(x). I know it has something to do with taking the derivative but the derivative of tan(x) is sec^2(x), so how do you get the tanget line from that?
I'm sorry if this is confusing. I think if you understand calculus, you'll get what I'm asking. I just need someone to explain to me how you get the tangent line at the given point. I would really appreciate it. :) Thanks!

Teacher that doesn't teach

Hello there, I have a big problem. I take Biology honors, and I learn by seeing and hearing. But the thing is that my teacher doesn't really teach...I don't know how to study for her tests, and her tests have so much information on them. I really need help knowing on how to study for her test. I have exams coming up in 3 weeks...and I really need some help.

ok soo i hate school and i dont know why! i want to go live with my aunt in california for a while just for a change..i know its pretty random. i dont think i could tell my mom that without making her feel bad. i dont want her to think im unhappy because of my family because im not. i just feel like i dont belong here. how do i like school better??

Final Exams

okeh. so i have like 2 final exams on Tues. and I am soooooo nervous. i always get nervous before tests, but 1 of these final exams will either put me at an A or a B. i have never gotten a B before, and I really want an A. last test i thought i did well, but ended up getting a B on it. But I'm really nervous! Any tips on 1)not being nervous before the test and 2)doing good on the test

also, if I have a 94% in that class, and get a C (70%) on the final exam, and tests are 20% of my grade, wut will i get in that class overall? a B-? B?

there is a big high school poetry contest coming up and i want to enter it. I am a pretty good writer, and capable poet but not extremely experienced. If I want to enter it has to be soon, but i can't seem to write anything! I don't need help with what or how to write, I'm just wondering how other people get inspiration? what can i do to jumpstart my creativity!

okay lately i learned from a friend that a really close teacher/friend of mine was a lesbian. She hadn't wanted students to know but she confided in teachers and told them not to tell ANYONE! But my friends mom, who works at the school and is a teacher, told her daughters all about it and how she went to her gfs home town to get married to her. Then my friend blabbed it too me. Now im furious and i hate my friends mother for being so unprofesional since i know how that could ruin someones career. But the mother also happens to be my scout leader and i have to see her tommorow. how should i handle this?
* by the way don't bother telling me that my friend had the right to know: its none of their buisness and the teacher has worked there for 18 years.

For Anyone Who's Read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

We're doing this book cover project in English class and I need to describle two of the characters of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.
I've read the book, but I'm having a hrad time coming up with character descriptions. I want to do Blla and Edward...so if anyone has any catchy ideas of how I could start them I would be forever grateful.
Also we have to write a brief abstract of the plot of the book, so if anyone has any ideas...I'm almost done with the abstract so I'm just worried about the character description...
