how can i get a job?

im thirteen, and im a good babysitter, i want a babysitting job. but my parents dont let me little sister stay home with me or anyone else becuase she throws temper tantrums the second they leave and such, so no luck there, and all my parents friends that have little kids have older children, most my fam. lives on the other side of the country.. so where could i get a job?

i'm 13/f.
i never babysat before but i really want to.
my brothers on a soccer team and some of the kids have little brothers and sister, but like i'm kindof shy and i dont know what to say to the parents.
how do i get sarted with everything.
like i need all the information & everything about babysitting.

ok i'm 13/f and its summer so i'm about to start babysitting. i wanted to put flyers up in the mail room because i live in an apartment. well the problem is, i dont know what to write on the flyers. can somebody please give me some ideas??

i started babysitting this nine year old girl every wednsday and friday from four to eleven about three month ago. she goes to bed at eight thirty but her older brother gets home around nine thirty or ten from work but i stay until his parents get home so they can pay me. he's 27. he started hitting on me the first wednsday i started babysitting. then about two weeks into it, the fourth time i babysat, i was washing dishes. he came up behind me, put his arms around my waist and started kissing my neck while he was putting his hands up my shirt. he said that it was time for me to stop 'teasing' him. i don't think i was teasing him, i dont dress revealingly or anything and i usually have something on my clothes by the time...

I was babysitting this ten year old... he was bein a brat and wouldnt go to sleep... my girlfriend was there and we couldnt have any time alone... so we had coke n we did it cause we were gonna have to stay up to watch him... he said he wanted to try so we let him... he started running around and actin like an indian... we got a pipe and some pot and smoked... he wanted to try but when he did he coughed n said he didnt want to do it... i told him if he didnt he would die... so we smoked 3 bowls with him and he got sleepy and went to bed... I feel bad that i gave this kid drugs... His parents never found out... what should i do???

I'm Afraid To Babysit Again!

The other day I was babysitting with my cousin, and one of the kids ran out of the house and we lost him for a while! We were so scared and the child's mother was very angry with us. Luckily, we found him. I just was asked to babysit my mom's friend's kids, but I'm really scared that I'll lose the kid again! HELP!

Our new neighbors just came yesterday! I was excited because I thought there would be kids and that I could hang around with (considering that the only kids in my neighbor hood are 19+)
Well I was playing fetch with my dog in the lawn this morning and they came! they have 2 dogs so my dog went crazy and ran after them. I went to go get my dog and I met the lady. She has a 4 month son and she asked me if I was interested in babysitting him. I agreed because i could really use the money.
problem?? I'VE NEVER BABYSAT IN MY LIFE!!!
I'm so nervous now! we haven't scheduled a day yet but i'm asking you people here for advice.
What am I supposed to do with a 4 month boy? Do ...

okay a random question...
im babysitting...both kids are asleep and i do know how to work the TV. anyone have any ides on what i should do?
and i cant use the phone incase someone tries to call...please give me ideas i rate high and i want something to do.

three year old and a five year old

Hey!
K so, I got a new babysitting job this weekend, and I havnt met the kids yet. All I know is that they are a three year old boy and a five year old girl. I have to babysit for about 6 hours, from 11 am to 5 pm. and I'm not sure if they are going to take a nap or not, but I need to try and find some things to do with them. Like I can take them out in the back yard and stuff, but six hours is a long time. Is there anything I can bring to get through the boring parts of the day? Oh, ps, it's supposed to rain, so I kinda doubt I will be able to take them outside for very long.

When a Stranger Calls.

I get so scared when I babysit this kid named Tommy. Whenever I go over there, this person always calls saying, "Nice outfit," or "Is Tommy asleep yet?" I have told the parents, and asked them if anyone has called like that but they think I am joking. Assist please!

For Easter my family will be coming over my house. All of my cousins are younger than me, and I really don't want them to be bored. So, I've been trying to find some fun outdoor games to play, but I can't say I've been very sucessful. PLEASE help me! the kids are 7,8,and 9 years old. Thanks in advance!

I babysit my little brother all the time who is three and now my neighbor asked me to babysit her two boys who are 9 and 12 and I'm nervous cause I've never babysat that age group so I'm nervous. Any tips, hints, or ideas on what to do?

Babysitting Saturday

I am 13 years old but turning 14 next month. I have babysat kids from the ages 2-6 numerous times. I also babysit my brothers who are 9 and 12. This Saturday I was asked to babysit these 3 kids. One is 1 1/2 years old, 1 is 8 years old and the other is 10. I know the 10-year old because she goes on my bus and I talk to her. I am worried about the 1 1/2 year old because he is not potty trained so that mean's I will be changing diapers. I have babysat alot before but for some reason this time Im more nervous. Is there anyway I can prepare quickly for Saturday and get over my worries. Thank you

um i have a question. i am about to start going to a babysitting course. i just wandered what to expect.do i practice changing diapers? cpr? all that tell me everything like your own experiences with either the course of actual babysitting i really need help asap as soon as possible! i am so excited but scared please help also when i get a job babysitting what do i bring what do i say to the parents please help. especially about the money? i dont wanna do it for free. after all its my free time i could do something better! please help thanks

Today a woman down the street called my mom and asked if I could come over and get aquianted with her kids so I can be her mother's helper. The reason she called is because a few months ago my mom gave her our number, I never met the woman. The problem is, I have no idea what I should do when I go to their house. I'm REALLY shy and i'm not all outgoing to adults (actually all people) like "OH HEY! NICE TO MEET YOU!! AWW YOUR KIDS ARE SOOOO CUTE! HI THER (INSERT KIDS NAME HERE)!! I want to be like myself when I go there, so how should I act to the mom? Also, what should I first say to the kids when i meet them? I don't want to seem like i don't like them. Ok second question: When i'm actually doing the job, WHAT ARE SOME THINGS I CAN DO...
