You can only get pregnant if sperm comes in contact with the vagina, so no, you cannot get pregnant.

Okay, maybe this is a little weird, but..
I want to go out with this kid, so I've decided I'm going to flirt with him before I ask him out (or he askes me) because he likes me or used to.

Yes you need to talk to them and let them know how you feel. Not talkin to them only makes the situation worse.
