So i dated my ex for about a year and then I broke up with him a few months ago. He still wants me back but he's sort of a player so I don't take him back. He got this new best friend that's a player that I can't stand. But I was talking to my ex yesterday and (by the way, he's a huge liar) he said something like 'my friend thinks we did it. i told him i was kidding but he didnt believe me' then he said something like he was just messing with him and didnt have time to tell him. I know he's lying, and the real thing is, he wanted to look cool infront of his friend and he knew I wouldnt say anything about him so he lied about me and told him we had sex. I dont want this guy to think that about me. I dont like that guy, but he supposedly likes me along with tons of other girls (even thought he's never really talked to me) and tried to get me (just to make my ex jealous) but still. I dont want to get the reputation of a slut. I'm done with talking to my ex, but I want to say something to his friend. Should I? And what should I say? (link)

It really sounds like you should not be hanging around with either of these people. If your conscience is really bugging you about the guy thinking you're a slut, i would tell him that its not true and he was totally lying because thats standing up for yourself and thats good right ? I mean it sounds like your ex is a total jerk but i know what its like to date a guy thats amazingly nice and funny and sweet but has his jerky moments. I say if you really like the guy more than you hate his faults, go for him but if you cant stand his lying more than you like him then i would ditch him for good. but never let people squish you, bf or ex bf. good luck ; )
