Im having four teeth pulled tommorow and im really nervous. I have some questions and i was really hoping that someone could help me. What do they do to you before they pull them? Does it hurt? How long does it bleed? What is a dry socket? How long does it take to close the gaps? Any info would help. Thanks :-) (link)

I recenntly had 2 teeth pulled. If your dentist is good *like mine) he will try to make it so your pain is as little as possible. He will give you injections to numb it ( and if you have no absess they work well). He should give you a presciption for pain medicine for later. The gap does not fill back in; however your dentist can putreplacements (artificial teeth) in there. Dry socket is when the hole does not close completely, leaving the bone and the nerve exposed. There is medication that your dentist can give for it,but it stops the healing. You should be given instructions on how to avoid this. Good luck. It really is no big deal.
