Hi - I just need to ask a kinda embarassing question...I had sex about a week ago (with a condom which worked fine). It was my first time so I expected there to be a bit of bleeding but the thing is, I think I had my period too, cos when I got dressed there was blood in my knickers which must have been there before I had sex (as I obviously hadn't been wearing them then!). Anyway, for the next few days I carried on bleeding, but not as steadily as usual when I'm on my period. I want to know if this was indeed my period or just the blood cos it was my first time?? If so, does this mean that I've skipped a period and could be pregnant? Lastly, would my period have come anyway, as I had sex so close to when it was due? Can anyone help me??? x x x (link)

sounds like you got your period right before having sex, it wouldn't get delayed just because you had sex so it was probably just a coincidence
