Hey,okay so im having problems with my best guy friend
we have litteraly been friends since we were about 6 grew up together and that,can literally tell each other everything im probably closer to him then i am with my best girl friend.
anyway lately hes got a bit distant not overly but he used to text me every day always left me one or two x's etc,but now his texts have gotten really short just one worded answers no x's or smily faces so automaticly i sense somethings up.
i ask him is he okay have i done something to upset him?
all i got was yea im fine and no.
so i said okay look your talking to me here i know when somethings wrong just tell me and he said nothings wrong,i said alright then im here if you need me.
and he got seriously defensive saying look theres nothing wrong im absolutely fine jesus im going to get really annoyed if you keep asking just drop it.
so i didnt even reply said id leave him to cool off when he gets in moods its best to leave him cool off. but i havnt heard anything from him since and i dont want to text him first its like hes pushing me away all i want to do his help him?
he always helps me with stuff and i wanna be there for him too. what can i do? i cant loose him i really cant.
btw i dont know if this is any relevance but hes told me a couple of times how much he loves me and wishes something could happen between us but he knows that i dont feel the same and accepted it and things are fine that way..now im worried that maybe its becoming hard for him to be just my friend or something?
anyone any advice on what i should do?or what could possibly be bothering him and how to get him to at least talk to me and stop shutting me out like this!

sorry girl but you are so blind not to out with the guy who you've known and been friends with for most of your life.if he told you he wished there could be something more between you more than a few times then you should give him a chance, i mean if he's sending you smiley's and x's every day then he really must like you. you can't just keep rejecting him like thatand still expect him to be happy. guy's get there feelings hurt too.so just give it a try, maybe it be a really good relationship between you two. just give it a try
