An American of British and Northern European descent, I reverted to Islam in 1986. A year later, I was formally introduced to and married a Muslim, and came to live in Saudi Arabia. I have taught Islamic studies both here and in the US. Currently, I teach English language and literature in middle and high school, and do some writing on the side.

I'll be very happy to answer your questions about Islam, and can also help with questions regarding Brit Lit and history. I will not engage in discussion of political issues.
