about
I came across this site a while back when I was looking for ideas to use for a "talent show" coming up, and then I realized what an interesting concept the site held. I figure that if people are willing to ask for strangers' advice, I'd be willing to give advice to strangers! Thus a new account was born. So, I now am on a mission to answer questions to the best of my ability! I can't say I know very much about many of the topics on here, but I do wish to train to become an actor, and plan to move to New York within the next couple of years. Just a little disclaimer: I'm still in high school, so don't expect a professional opinion to be offered here. ;)
&I don't know how this is relevant to anything; but I have two dogs, and they pretty much rock.
advice
There was a video I saw on tv on one of thoes celebrity entertainment shows (extra, access hollywood...) showing practices with evan and anna on dancing with the stars. He tells her to go get him coffee with cream and sugar. Where can I watch the full video online?
http://abc.go.com/watch
That's where you could probably find it. I haven't kept up with Dancing with the Stars recently though, so I'm not sure which video it would be. But that site is where you could watch it if anywhere. ;)
In my video class, our last project is a creative project. We can do anything from music videos to doucmentaries. I was planning on doing a music video, preferably to alternative music (the scene aesthetic, taking back sunday, cute is what we aim for..etc) But i dont really want it to be a love song. Does anyone have any ideas for any songs i could do, or any creative video ideas, despite which i song i use? I would also do a documentary but cant think of any thing to do one on... any ideas?
Thanks!
WELL. I just happen to be in a TV Production class as well, and I found that mockumentaries turn out pretty admired by all. In case you're unaware of what mockumentaries are, they are basically fake documentaries about anything you want. I would really suggest doing one of these because you could do it on ANYTHING, and because it's a documentary, the camera shots and the plot would be easy to film and such. That's just the route I would go. But if you've really got your heart set on doing a music video, I think something by Cobra Starship would be pretty awesome. Whatever you choose to do, I wish you luck. Godspeed!
I have looked around the internet for answers to this question, WHY am I afraid of caterpillars, and HOW do I conquer my phobia?
All I have found is stupid little girls saying "eeew they are so gross! how do i get over my fear?" Well, first thing, I don't think they are "Gross" or "Icky" I think they are absolutely horrifying. And I mean it. They scare the heck out of me, not gross me out or disgust me, but they terrify me. I can't look at a picture of one without having that mini-heart attack and feeling dizzy. If I see one in real life, I automatically scream and run, and sometimes I can't stop myself from crying when I see one. Just hearing someone talk about caterpillars frightens me, and then I am paranoid all day and I continuously check the ground for them.
This is a serious phobia and a serious question so I would appreciate it if I didn't get any answers saying "Aaww get over it they are little and slow and cute!" Because that doesnt really help me.
I have read on the internet that I could go to a therapist, hypnotist, or do other things such as just be in the same room as one and gradually make my way closer until I am not scared any more. This seems like a good idea, but I am mostly interested in WHY I am afraid of caterpillars.
BTW, this fear has gone on for years, and I have had many many nightmares about caterpillars. Last night I had a nightmare that there were caterpillars everywhere I turned and when I tired to walk around them they just kept appearing infront of me.
I have once had a bad dream that caterpillars were all over my yard. In the dream I was sitting outside with my Mum and Sister, then there were a few caterpillars on the floor, then more started to appear, and by then I was terrified, then they were EVERYWHERE. They were FLYING (like caterpillars with little butterfly wings) and HOPPING at me (like springs or grass hoppers). I was running around trying to get away from them and then eventually I woke up.
I am not afraid of butterflies or any flying bugs, I am kind of frightened by creepy-crawly bugs, but nothing scares me like caterpillars.
If it helps, I also have an extreme fear of heights (I can't sit on something that is two meters tall) and I can't look up at a tall building without almost fainting.
Please help answer: Why am I afraid of caterpillars? Also, does having nightmares about caterpillars mean anything?
Thank you.
From my perspective here, everyone has their fears. Though some people are deathly afraid of the more usual critters like spiders and snakes, in which case I could list off several people with the same horrific response as you have to caterpillars, I could understand how you just happen to be scared of caterpillars. I don't think you can really control what you're scared of, but I'd say give it a shot. Conquering your fear might be a fun little adventure to take on. :P
As far as nightmares, I'm sure there's someone a lot smarter than me who would suggest that they have some sort of deeper, psychological meaning to them, but I say that it's just because you're scared of them, so you have nightmares about them. I had a nightmare about a killer weasel once, and I doubt it had any sort of significant meaning other than the fact that I have a very awkward imagination.
So the bottom line: I wouldn't worry about your nightmares because they're bound to be weird, but focus on conquering that pesky fear of the unheard beast known as the caterpillar. (I find that closing your eyes and holding your breath tends to help ease the stress a bit when facing your fears. ;D)
can anyone translate this, one of my friends posted this on their facebook but wont tell anyone what it means!
وأنا على استعداد لجميع العواقب. صدقوني ، لقد نوايا أسوأ.
A useful site if you ever have anything else you need to translate would be here. http://www.freetranslation.com/
Just copy what you want to translate, paste it in the box, and it will automatically analyze it, and determine what language it is in. Then set the "translate to" box to be English, and hit translate. There you go. :P
do you know of any good sites that you can look at ways to cut your hair.i would like the sites to be up to date with style and stuff.thnx ♥ xox ♥
Though the site isn't organized very well, they have some pretty snazzy choices as far as hairstyles go.

Just a little side note: I've learned in my experiences that it's not all about the hairstyle you pick, but also the hairstylist. Make sure you find a good hairstylist because no matter how stylish your hairstyle may be, a low-rate hair cuttery just won't do it justice. ;)
