To "pop your cherry" is the expression used when someone loses their virginity. It actually comes from the inner lining of the vagina being tore for the first time. When this happens there will be some bleeding, thus you have "popped" your cherry. This can also come from vigorous activity non sexually related. Women can pop their cherry while playing sports. It doesn't necessarily have to come from penetration, but is usually due to that.

Hi girl! well, rough or not, the pressure that is put on your cervix and uterus can cause your period to start earlier than usual. but also, it could be that your cherry has been popped(hymen broke) if the bleeding lasts for 2 days or less that that is probably the case! Good luck girly :) xoxo
