I like this guy. Well my friend likes him too. The thing is they're sorta going out. What happened was they started going out but my friend dumoed him. I was so happy I might have a chance and he could tell I wanted to go out with him. I think he wanted to go out with me too. But then my friend told me that she didn't mean it and she's afarid he won't say yes now. I think he will. Now I'm kinda sad but happy for my friend. I don't know I have mixed feelings about this. I don't want to mess up their relationship by telling him. What do I do? (link)

S:Well i know a lot of people who have been in this same situation. Infact, so have I in a way. I think that you should talk to your friend abour this. If she doesn't understand then technically she isn't a friend to you. With these types of situations it is easy to tell who is your friend an who isn't. If she becomes really mad at you for telling her the truth then like I said she isn't a good friend for you. If she doesn't seem to mind then go for it with the guy.
L:I also think that you should talk to your friend about it. But definitely around this time, when your friend ISN'T going out with him. This way, she SHOULDN'T get mad at you, because he isn't her property. If she gets mad at this time, then she really isn't a good friend. But if you choose to follow Saru's advice, and you ask her while she's going out with him, if she gets mad at her, it's not her fault. It'll be her boyfriend! She'll have an instinct to be mad. I think it would be really immature to be mad at her either way. (Saru's ex-BFF took her crush and went out with him, so she was totally mad at her ex-BFF. man..she hated her so much!) But yeah.. I think either way she SHOULD understand, but I don't think either way you should be mad if she gets mad.
