I am a 67 year old British male. A long term relationship (some 30 years) with a lady has recently ended. This has left me feeling very down and lonely. We were never great ones for joining things (me more so than her) so I am at a bit of loss as to best way to get out in the world again, meet new friends and have a social life.
What are good ways of making new friends/social life for someone my age. Does volunteering help (link)
Well the last advice was clearly one that did not comprehend your post.
Nor did you state to ex relations age, merely you had been in a relation for 30 years.
Yes volunteer in some thing you have a believe in as well.
I too was in a long relationship for over 27 yrs. married. I left it one day because he keep making me sick. He keep bring home illness from other women. I'm 47 & beautiful inside & out. Way to long to deal with this but I stayed for the kids. They are all off to college.
Back to you. Join a yoga class & do you for a bit. Don't look for another. It will happen just in passing. Hague with close friends & family. Try not to be alone till the empty filing easies in your chest..

Tonya 916 halo
