I have noticed that my computer does not actually have microsoft powerpoint.
so i was woundering if i could download it-i found out i can but i have to pay dollas! :S
is there a website where i can geta trile version free? (link)

If you're looking for something to keep on your computer, I recommend trying Open Office. It's a program that's designed to be like Microsoft Office, but is given away for free. One thing that's really neat is that you're able to open/edit/save all your programs in the MSOffice formats, so you can still easily bring them back and forth from school/work.

The program that you use to make slideshow presentations is called "Impress" - that's their version of Powerpoint. There will be a few things that look different, but they both do the same thing.

I've never used them, but they look very detailed and easy to understand.
If you don't need to make your own presentations and just want to see other people's presentations, you can use the PowerPoint viewer instead:
