Q: Whenever i try to click on a folder or file on my desktop, such as "My Computer", it doesnt do anyhting, even when i right click and press Open. It temporarily shows the timer sign with the arrow, but thats it. I also cannot open a folder from the start menu. However, i still have access to the internet when i click on it. When i restart the computer, i once again have access to the folders, however, after a while the same problem occurs. Is there a problem with my computer and there somehting i can do about this?

Spyware or a virus maybe. Run spyware scans (I recommend SpyBot and Ad-Aware SE Personal) and remember it's always best to use more than one program as not all programs will find the same virus. And run a virus scan or two. Make sure your definitions files are up to date.

The usual keyboard shortcut to this is 'Insert'. I often press 'Insert' accidentally therefore turning this setting on. So watch when you're typing that you don't accidentally press the key to turn this setting on.
