I've been wondering if you can use Audacity to synthesize your voice when you make a phone call or get a call on your phone, and if so, how you could. (link)
If you're talking about the free program (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/), then it can only process pre-recorded sound, not real-time sound.

This would mean that you would have to record the sound, then process it, and then play it back.
