how do i get into acting at a young age if you live in a non-important town in Ny. I know I major in acting at college, but I want to start acting on tv before that.
any ideas or tips!?
Get your self out there. Get headshots and a resume and GET OUT THERE TO AN AUDITION! You can look on the web for local auditions for television or theater. One suggestion I have is to go out to your local bookstore and buy the book, "Breaking Into Acting: For Dummies". It has great tips on acting. I'm 14 and I hope to get into acting by the time I'm 16, but hopefully as soon as possible. But one other important tip is that you get a good night sleep before the audition and don't show up late.
