Why do some people feel the need to stereotype? I find it very small minded, especially when people say:
*"emos" are suicidal
*"preps" are mean
*guys are horndogs
*girls are bitches when they get their periods
*teenagers are full of raging hormones and go through tons of mood swings
etc.
So why do some stereotype like that? (link)

Because that's how people today see them as. They don't really know the person, they only go by what they know. It is kind of sad to see how people stereotype these days, but it's the truth.
