Ok..this may be long..I go to school (I'm in 8th grade) like everyone else and I hang out w/ my little group consisting of 6 people including myself. Well, one of the girls is completley attatched to me even though she is annoying and I don't want to be her friend. Well she invites herself over and does w/e she pleases and my mom does not like her or her family at all! Well how do I turn her down in a nice way and move away slowly? (that's just my first problem) Then there is another girl that I absolutley adore! We are just getting close b/c my first friend talks bad about her constanly I never wanted to be friends with her...well anyway I want to be her friend and be close with her but not the immature childish one...any suggestions on how to solve this? FOR THE ANNOYING PERSON:
Just say that you feel like yall are growing apart and ya'll need to spend some time apart for awhile to sort things out. Maybe if she starts to spend time with other people she will foret about bugging you. Also, you can tell her that you don't like that she back talks that other girl and tell her that you don't want to ne friends with someone who talks trash about them

Keep getting closer to her. She could become one of your really good friends you never know.

Ok, there's this guy at my school (i live in Vermont) who everyone thinks is gay. Even though the rumors are most likely not true, no one wants to be his friend because of rumors, and neither do my friends. I really think it's terrible how people treat him, and I want to be his friend; I don't believe sexual orientation should affect friendship. How should I be his friend without making my friends mad, or making him feel uncomfortable when my friends want to hang out with me? (link)

Well you're definately right. Sexual orientation should have nothing to do with who you're friends with. If your friends get mad at you because you want to be his friend, thats a personal problem they have to deal with. Its just the same as if you don't like someone they hang out with and they don't like on of your friends already. Its kind of petty if they're willing to stop being your friend over this also. If this guy who is accused of being gay is really nice, then be his friend. He shouldn't feel uncomfortable around your friends but its understandable if he does. How would you feel if you were in his shoes? Hang out with him by yourself. If you think your friends will like him, tell him he'll be fine, and introduce them. It might just work. Goodluck. -Sarah

My best friend and I started our accounts around the same time on this website. We usually ask each other questions for fun and it may get us some publicity here. Anyway so one time she asked me a question and of course I answered it (I bet you would of never guessed that...lol). We promised we would never rate each other a low ratibng and she gave me a 3! What should I do? I'm really mad. I'll rate 4 and 5 un like my friend. Thank you. (link)
