Well I'm 13 and a female. My friend told me that my bestfriend has said bad things about me behind my back. We've been best friends for 4 years. My best friend and I had this huge fight about talking behind each other behind our backs. Her cousin told me that she didn't say anything about me behind my back and said, "why wouldn't you believe your best friend". Well it's true but my friend told me this real bad family secret of hers so I thought if she can trust me this I'll trust her about the best friend thing. Then I tried sorting out things with my best friend but I don't think she really doesn't want too. But the thing is I don't know if I want to either now. I don't know what to do? So what am I suppose to do? Should I ask my friend if she was telling the truth or ask my best friend if she was telling the truth? I seriously don't know what to do! (link)

You should believe your bestfriend why would she lie to you. You two have been friends for 4 years. I think your friend may be jealous of your best friend because she wants to be your best friend. You and your best friend have been friends for 4 years you can't let a silly rumor ruin that. Espcially since you are in middle school and thats when all the gossiping and rumors ,and people talking behind your back start. You just have to find out who your real friends are.
