hi im 13/14 and im having friendship problems. see all of my friends are constantly complaigning that they don't have boyfriends and how miserable thier lives are. I wanna help them but i want them to stop complaining all the time. Are guys really everything? DO they really make you happy? (link)

hey there, friendship problems happen all the time, and yeah sometimes they can be hard but you just have to work through those problems together. Guys actually aren't everything. To all of you that know me, yes i just said that! haha but guys always seem to lead to trouble. Guys don't always make your life happier. Yes at the time when you're together it seems like it. But once you two stop hanging out or break up a big time wall comes between you too most of the time and it becomes very intense. You don't want to see them, look at them, think about them, dream about them. and you just can't stop. From previous relationships i've learned that guys are a lot harder to deal with then girls. But, on the other hand guys can be better friends. They don't complain that they're fat, or especially that they want a boyfriend (unless they're gay) but you and your friends don't need guys to make you happy. You can be happy just the way you are. You just have to wake up every morning and say today is gonna be a happy day and try as hard as possible to make it a happy day.
