My ex boyfriend and I dated for almost 2 years, off and on, when he cheated on me back in March. I haven't talked to him since.
He's tried to call me and talk to me but I was too mad and hurt.
Well, on my birthday, he came to my house and gave me a 10 min. long apology. As my gift, he gave me 2 tickets to a concert (Dashboard Confessional--my FAVVV band) and asked me if I would go with him. I told him I'd think about it and call him.
When I got inside, I opened the envelope that the tickets were in and he had written me a note. It said how great I am and that I didn't deserve what he did to me, etc. He said that he knew that the concert doesn't make up for anything but he'd hope it'd be a start to our friendship.
So, I called him up and told him that I'd take him with me to the concert.
Then, about four days after my birthday (today) he calls me and tells me that he can't make the concert because he *night* be out of town that day!! WTF is that? If you buy tickets to something and want to go, then you'd know if you were going to be in town that day or not! Am I right?
What do you think his problem is?

welll i think he was just trying to buy these tickets so you would like him and be afriend again and forgive him....He "Thought" by buying you tickets you would forgive him, so he dind't even think about going with you, but i know it is hard since you like him right, am i righT? well you just gotta talk to him and tell him the goods and bads, and if he doesn't pay attention then what is the point of wasting your life and time with that kinda guy, take a girl with you or another good friend...i am sure they love you
