I think that I might just like the same guy that my best friend likes. What do I do? I thought this kind of stuff only happened on TV (link)

The truth is...that happens a lot, not just on TV. Me and like 2 or 3 of my other friends like the same guy too. Just talk to her and make sure that if one of you gets him to not get mad, it's not worth a friendship for a guy! Me and my friend promised that no matter what happened we wouldn't get mad. So try talking to her, see what she has to say!
