I live in Ohio, and when I grauate from high school and college, I hope to get into the Medical field. I plan on joining the Air Force after graduation! I'm here for anyone who needs advice or needs help with anything. I'm an understanding person and a great listener

My principal and assistant principal mistreat me and disrespect me. In fact, my mom is frustrated with them as well.

Here's why:
- A few months ago, they tried to get me stuck in a mental hospital, and they had no reason to do so.
- My parents, the psychiatrist, and therapist do not want me on medication. However, the principal has been trying to force me into taking it.
- I am also bisexual, and I feel that they mistreat me because of it.
- They accuse me of being a liar. For example, when I told the principal that I stopped cutting myself (and I was being honest!), she said, "Why should I believe you?" The nerve! And the assistant principal told me to not say things that aren't true and not lie -- even though all I've done is be honest about what I think.
- They act phony and insincere around me -- like they pretend to care but obviously don't. It's annoying.

I can't stand this anymore!

You can report them to your local school department. I was having trouble with teachers/staff not trusting me and being rude and disrespectful so I went to an online school, and it was the best decision I have ever made! My school is powered by k12 and they have virtual schools in almost every state. I don't know what your circumstances are with being home and online everyday but because this is all frustrating I'd definitely look into it! I'm twelve years old and I'm stuck in class with fourteen year olds. The work is pretty straightforward and easy, but I always feel out of place when around other girls. They're all very nice, but they wear makeup, short skirts, tight tops, and high heels, and I'm always in sweatpants. They all seem so flawless and sophisticated, but my hair and face are always greasy and acne is ruining my complexion. Even worse, guys won't even look at me! I'm so sick of being the odd one out!

I know that you don't what and don't like to feel out of place but you have to just be yourself. Dont' worry what you think that other people think of you. If you like the way you are then so be it. If you don't like the way you are then try and change a little. Just remember change because YOU want to change and not what other people what you to do.

I heard of Michael Faraday, Humphrey Davy and Marie Curie. I literally just read about bot of them. If I had to pic which 1 I likes the best it would be Michael Faraday. He always had tons of questions he also loved to read and later became a apprentice in a bookbinder shop. One day he went to a auditorium and heard a speech composed by Sir Humphrey Davy himself. HE wrote down all the notes he could and then later on he sent his notes to him and then he went on to become a scientist. Have you ever heard of Daniel Hale Williams. He was a African American and was the first person to ever preform Open Heart Surgery on a patient that had a stab wound to the chest. He also was the person to open the doors of Province Hospital. This hospital was open to any race and trained nurses and doctors of any race because back then hospitals would not have people that are not white walk into there hospital. Which I thought was not nice at all because every race has the right to have the same exact treatment as white people did.

Im 15 in 10th grade and ive gone to a private school my whole life but I will be going to a public school in 2 weeks. Im scared but i really want to go to a public school (the main reason im leaving is cuz of bullying.)Is there anything that I should know about changing schools mid year? How different is private from public? All my friends that have switched to public school have all said that they loved it but idk. Im mexican and not a lot of mexicans go to the school im going to and they are all mormon but im catholic so I dont know if I will be treated very differently? please help

Hello I would just like to say that I do online public school and I love it (it is ohio virtual academy and you get all of the materials for free and I mean everything the only thing you have to buy are the next rounds of ink and printer paper). Before I was homeschooled I went to a catholic school which I also liked. I was very scared and nervous about the switch but the transaction to me was fine. Back to your story Private school cares about you and you grades and try to help you any way they can but thee are alot of mean people there too. In public school there are alot of mean people and the teachers don't really care and they really dont have any rules so you can basically do what you want to do but if you go to far you WILL get into trouble.

so i took my yearbook picture a couple of weeks ago but i had a HUGE zit on the tip of my nose. Makeup picture day is in two weeks and i was wondering if the school would let me retake my picture since i had already taken one? how would i tell them i need to retake one?

At my old school I always had to save the pictures that I had from before ( the pictures that you do not want you can only gt them retaken if you didnt pass them out or cut into them because if they have been they probably will not acept them and then you will have to pay all over again) take them back to your school the day of picture retake and give them to you teacher.

So im sitting here at home trying to get one hundred and fifty pages of school work done in the next 7 days. I always wait to the last two days to do all my homework before a test. i been trying lateley to work on that to give myself more time and less stress, however im sitting here with the tv disconneted computer off, till now, and phone on silent, ill be reading my work buy my mind wonders off to chores, sex, and my wieght. I dont know what to do i want to learn how to focus because i want to do great in school.

Hello I want to just start of by saying that the only thing stopping you from focusing is you. You may really think that all of those other things are the cause of it (by thinking of it). Try to get orgnized and what I always do is do all of my work the day it was assigned so that I will have to do whatever later on down the road. I have a moto which is "what is due is what you do" I say this because in order to be successful in school and get good grades you have to know how to focus which is key. I will say one thing that ALWAYS helps me stay on topic, well I always do all of my work first and then I think about what I want to think about. You also may not be able to focus because you hve lots of distractions around you. If you do schoolwork in you room you shouldn't be distracted unless you have to she it with someone or your parents need you. I suggest going to a calm quiet place (like the library) and do your work there. Just remember the more you concentrate the more you get done and the more you get done the more time you have to think about what ever it is that is on you mind.
