hi; im sheridan. ive always loved giving advice and ive been told im good at it.
ive been with my boyfriend for about 17 months now & weve been through almost everything. but were still happy and strong. :]

i used to have a column a little while ago with a lot of fans, but sadly when my computer broke i was rarely on and lost my username and password.

but im back and im willing to help anyone who needs it. :]

So I have super curly mixed hair and I have no bangs. I want side wept bangs and 1 high light n the front like Kat Von D's. I'm going to get this all done at a beauty salon.

...So what order shud I go in? bangs 1st? then highlight? should I straighten my hair myself? or have the beauty salon people do it? I don't want to feel stupid walking in there! :-p

my mother is a hair dresser so ive been around this my whole life.

so basically you make an appointment and tell them what you want in small detail through the phone just as basics and once you get there you tell them what you want specifically.

she'll usually end up doing the highlights first then cut your bangs. you dont need to straighten or do anything to your hair because it will just end up getting washed by the hair stylist.

there professionals dont forget they know what they're doing and if there good they'll get it right. just explain to them what you want done all at once and they'll do it in whatever order they feel most comfortable doing it.

if your getting it done in separate days, then it doesnt really matter what order you do them in, but if its all the same day then the stylist will chose the order. and you wont look stupid.

just remember, your in charge of your hair, so telling the styler what you want done wont make you look dumb.
