my favorite foundation is shinefree i got it from cvs for about fiveteen dollars. it works well for oily skin too.

my hands get very hot and no dont tell me to tone down the heat settings

my hands get really red when i do this too. So what i do is straighten my hair near a open window, turn on a fan, or possibly turn on your air conditioner. Try straightening your hair in a tank top it may help. Atleast that's what i do.
