I have had an extremely event- filled life with many extreme high and low points. I've even learned a few lessons along the way, and I hope that I can be of service to anyone who asks. I have definite opinions on quite a few relationship topics, especially- but not limited to- child development. Please feel free to ask me, as all 3 of my children (raised with very few resources)are extremely well adjusted young adults.
Also, I've been divorced 3 times, so I know pretty much what NOT to do in a married relationship.

I have always wondered exactly what religious/spiritual catagory I fall into. I believe in a higher being but I do not believe in organized religion. Where would I fall? (link)

Categorizing religion/spirituality can be a very hurtful thing to some people, especially those who are skeptical or undecided as to which path-if any-to follow. It is true that deep down inside almost every human being has a fundamental idea of God, or a Higher Power.
One way to start your journey is very basic. One school of thought suggests that the simpler we form our opinions and ideas the easier they are to comprehend. Try this simple exercise- get a legal pad and draw a line down the middle. On the left side, simply make the heading God is. On the right side, God isn't.When you are through, cut it in half and discard the right side. What's left is your basic concept of God, as you understand Him.Whether you believe in prayer or not, try this exercise.Read your list every morning and simply pray, or just talk to the basic idea you have formed.Do this for two weeks, religiously (pun intended), and just find out if there is any difference in the way you think, feel, and act toward other people. Good luck !
