I'm in my early twenties. I was raped as a teenager and never told my parents. Should I ever tell them? If they knew, they might be able to understand me better (I've got some psychological issues) but I don't want to upset them - if they knew, they'd be so so sad and would probably feel like it's their fault somehow.
