hey jazz,
sometimes my dad doesn't pay attention to my feelings or anything i have to say and it's like i don't exist and he favors my brother (i believe at times) and when my brother does stuff to annoy me my dad treats it like it's nothing. i don't know how to fix this problem, i've tried talking to him about it but then he always gets back by something i did in the past. how do i deal w/ this conflict (link)

i dunno if you just tried to talk to your dad alone or if it was a whole family thing. i would suggest calling a family meeting, and talk about it all together, so you might have people on your side instead of just you and your dad and he attacking you with his words. during this meeting express how you feel, say you feel neglected and that you feel that your dad favors your brother. dont hold back. just dont say anything to get yourself grounded or something like that. lol. well thats my suggestion to you for now if it doesnt work tell me here and i'll try to come up with another way to help you.
