Hello, welcome to my column. I'll attempt to answer your questions to the best of my ability. I may only be 13, but contrary to popular belief, I am mature for my age.

I saw the Grudge last night, and I thought it was pretty scary, and now I'm really scared. Like when I'll be in my room, (my light always does this)the light will go on and off and I've never been scared by that, and now I'm totally freaked out! what should i do?!!

Remember, a movie is a movie, it's a work of fiction. If you are afraid of sleeping, watch a "Feel Good" movie. A movie that's happy, and warm, as opposed to dark and gloomy. This should help. If the lights scare you, turn on a lamp, that's bright enough to lighten, but dim enough so you can sleep in comfort. If none of these work, stay up and long as you can, you will soon get so tired, you won't even be thinking clearly. Try falling asleep while the TV is on, or with the TV on in the other room. I don't know why, but I always had a feeling of comfort whenever my father had the television on while I slept. I couldn't see it, but I could here it. The dark can play with your mind. In the darkness, your imagination runs wild, and you can't process your thoughts clearly, So avoid sleeping in completely pitch black rooms. I hope my advice helps.
